Great food at the restaurant and included breakfast! The hotel also has a super unique and charming layout with rooms on different levels, small staircases between these, all around two pools and greenery in the inner courtyard.

They had very strict policies of having friends over during the day and had to pay extra which is ridiculous.

The property was clean and the rooms were great. Definitely try to reserve the room with the jacuzzi upstairs. The pools were very refreshing and the restaurant is great.

The staff were great. Very friendly and extremely helpful whatever we asked for. They helped to book ongoing transport and also were very understanding when we needed a late checkout due to illness. The Hotel is well located, safe and very well laid out. It had a very relaxed vibe!!. Rooms were perfect, huge bed, clean and very good aircon. Breakfast was excellent too. Local food and great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay.

Service in the hotel restaurant is terribly slow. One evening we waited nearly 90 minutes between ordering and getting the food. Even then it was my wife’s food that arrived with mine not appearing at all. Given it was later than 22.00 At that point it was too late for us to eat so I had to go hungry. We complained to the manager at reception who spoke to the restaurant staff. They said they were busy but there was only one other table occupied by other guests. The room cleaning was done very late in the day. We were generally out in the morning and back at the hotel mid to late afternoon to rest. At this time staff tried to clean the room. It should really be done much earlier. The tour company recommended by the hotel, ‘Living Tour’ are actually only a third party agent. They charged us 245,000 pesos each for a trip that they then sub contracted to another tour operator. When we went on the website of that other tour operator they were offering the same tour for 170,000 pesos each. In short LivingTour are ripping off the hotel guests. I tried to contact them for an explanation but they have ignored my emails. That is very very poor.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Rooms are air conditioned, spacious and comfortable. Staff at the reception are very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast choices.

Spacious rooms. The location in the town is within walking distance of all the local restaurants and bars. Relaxing swimming pool. The included breakfast was exceptional. We had a morning where we had to leave for a tour at 6am and the staff prepared a breakfast for us to take away.

The streets surrounding the hotel felt a little unsafe in the evenings. Although I had no issues, it's something to be wary of if you're considering booking.

Lovely hotel, great pool and delicious breakfast (and they even made me a sandwich and fruit to take away one morning when I had to leave early). Room was very comfortable and the staff were super friendly. Can't complain about the hotel itself!

It was all perfect for me. The street might be a bit desolate and dodgy when you step outside, but everyone is really minding their own business. I walked alone quite late and felt okay, but might be worth getting a taxi if you're nervous. Worth it though once you step through those gates!

Best place I've stayed in my SA trip. Beautiful. Clean. Friendly vibe. Room was delightful. A bargain price. Wanted to stay a lot longer.

Beautiful oasis in Santa Marta. The city has not much to offer except the memorial area of Simon Bolivar (which is located about 20 minutes out of the city). We opted for a snorkeling excursion (read tag along with a divers tour) which we arranged late in the evening. Water tours are often booked, so look into it in advance. For the rest of our stay we really enjoyed the hotel, the pools are unique and it is a very relaxing area.

The location is central however at night is not good, to walk out specially if you are alone or only female. During the day is decent like any other city homeless and a lot of traffic
