Little piece of oasis, attentive staff, well situated with good restaurants nearby (Ouzo is great)

Everything was good. The main pool is in an awkward spot- right as you walk into the hotel and in front of the tables where people may be eating breakfast, etc. There is another more private pool upstairs but when I went up to check it out it seemed one couple had taken it over as their private space so…? If you have any kind of mobility problems you should definitely let them know, as only a few rooms are on the ground floor and the rest are upstairs (straight or spiral staircase could be challenging with lots of luggage). While the location was good and generally safe area, the street to go to the beach , pedestrian street or bolivar park was slightly sketchy and not overly well lit (the police station is right there though - going to the beach) but I definitely walked faster at night.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and accommodating; providing recommendations for restaurants etc. The facilities were very clean and my room was much larger than expected. I had plenty of room. They offer a made to order breakfast from a menu of items, so there were plenty of options available. They also offer shampoo and conditioner if needed. The towels had a nice lemon scent (they even offered bathrobes). The room had a small closet with an iron and safe. They offer two small bottles of water and coconut cookies when checking in. This hotel was definitely one of the most upscale I’ve stayed in for awhile (for that price point - even considering I was traveling in Colombia). You could even order lunch or dinner from them if needed and if you are checking out early before breakfast they can offer you a to-go box. On my checkout day, they were more than happy to accommodate me by allowing me to keep my belongings in the room for awhile. They were happy to store my luggage if needed as well. Lastly, the location can’t be beat. One block to the beach and ti Bolivar park as well as the pedestrian street leading to Parque de Novios. For the most part it was quiet given its location. They have a rooftop for a view (be prepared to climb stairs)

Everything was beautiful. The location is fabulous - less than a block to the bay/Marina and many restaurants and bars. The bed was super comfortable. We had a jacuzzi bath which was the ultimate in luxury for me - in a lovely outdoor space. The staff couldn’t have been any more welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was really high quality too. All the outdoor spaces were beautiful. A sanctuary in the city.

Location, in the old town, near dozens of bars and restaurants, one block from the sea and marina. Staff, who give you personal attention and help. So friendly. Breakfast sitting around the courtyard pool. Roof terrace. Parking 2 minute walk.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel offers beautiful rooms, although they are a bit dark. The staff was exceptional – incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight that one morning, when we had to leave before breakfast, they prepared a thoughtful takeaway package with food and drinks without us even asking. A wonderful service that made our stay even more enjoyable!

The small hotel was in a great location near the ocean and the historic center. It was very comfortable and quiet. The room was nicely decorated, the bed comfortable, & the room very quiet. We spent time on the lovely rooftop cooling off in the small pool. Highly recommended.

The downstairs pool lacks privacy and is for appearance only I would say. There is a small pool on the top floor which was more private if you were alone! The stairs would be a challenge for anyone with older knees!

The ambience of the hotel is lovely. The staff were very helpful and made me feel valued. The room was really lovely and clean. I loved the decor and extra touches. It is very well located for the busy surrounding streets filled with restaurants and bars.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. My wife actually got sick the last day of our trip and it happened to in Santa Marta. They led us in the right direction for great medicine and even made her some broth.

The tap water was not drinkable but the hotel did not provide filtered water- we had to purchase, which seemed strange for a hotel of this calibre.

We originally intended to stay here one night as a stop over after a 4.5 bus journey from Cartagena. We extended by another night as we loved it so much. Beautiful hacienda, lovingly restored with a great back story! Traditional decor, wonderful service,three different pool/jacuzzi areas, a spa and delicious breakfast. It’s super quiet here as well and very close to the promenade. Also we were upgraded on our second night to the Presidential suite which is superb.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to the presidential suite due to a problem with the room I have booked. It was one of the few hotels which welcomed us with drink and a brief historic tour of the house. Amazing suite, friendly staff and delicious food.
