Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

• The cleaning service is very limited. We had to ask them each time to clean, they wouldn’t wash the sink when they did come, and they didn’t change all the towels. • Some of the staff members are not very friendly, starting with one of the receptionists. • They charged me an extra 3% fee for paying by card, whether debit or credit, and they didn’t inform me about this in advance. I only found out once I was already at the property. • Even though the location is great, the rooms are not soundproof, so you can hear all the noise from the nearby clubs and businesses. I recommend buying earplugs as soon as you arrive so you can sleep.
The location is fantastic and easily the best feature of the property.

During the weekends is to noisy. Lots of clubs and drunk people around. TOWELS ARE HORRIBLE.
Price was excellent. No other same type hotel in the world, would has that cost

The hostel looks great, but the towels are old stained rags. There are homeless sleeping across the property
Location, and rate are excellent, however staff goes in a different direction. Nobody answered the phone. Front Desk attended by unprofessional kids, with no idea about hospitality business. Employees could dress casual, but no dirty please. Getting in or out of the hostel, means waiting a long time for any employee to finalize a personal phone call, or to wake up because was sleeping.

If I had one complaint because you’re in a tourist area it’s noisy

It was very clean the staff were very friendly and professional and the hotel was safe.
Beautiful property and in a central location easy access to restaurants and shopping centers.

The property is spotless and the service is fantastic - but the neighborhood bars and entertainment donnot respect legal volume limits nor curfew - the music was impossibly loud all night : until 6am!!

The room had a small window to the inside of the building, so there was no daylight. It was very noisy in the room, a lot of music from a bar close by and the neighbours. When we appointed this to the recepionist he did not really respond.
The area downstairs where you could have breakfast is nice.

The reception stuff is outrageous. They have stolen 300,000 from me and reception guy told my wife that I had another girl in the room before, and stole my money, case is being investigated by police. Also they have damaged whole load of my clothes in the laundry gave it back damaged and wet, when I complaining they told me to get lost. I never in my life seen such a behavior from anyone, and I don't understand why they have done that. Only good guy at reception is Ryan, and he was on my side but rest of the stuff is corrupt and very low at thinking. Stay away from that place ! Seriously is not worth the troubles AS WELL THERS A GYM BEHIND THE HOTEL AND THEY BANG LOUD MUSIC FROM 7AM UNTIL EVENING EVERYDAY

It was very noisy. The first 2 nights we were in the first floor by the reception area. I could hear everything from the room on the second floor, even when they turned their lights on the light was visible from my room! It was definitely not sound/light-proof. Also, the noise from the recepción area (people talking, the door bell etc) kept me up all night. Staff was nice and moved my family to another room. It was better, but still loud from all the music from nearby bars. After 3 nights, I was exhausted. No ear plugs were enough.
The staff was very friendly and the place is located within walking distance of many restaurants.

Although it is well located, the area is very loud and the windows in the rooms are not really soundproofed. The room looked like in the picture, but we think they put a freshly painted bed night table before we stayed in the room, and the smell of fresh paint was strong and uncomfortable. Lastly, we have a lot of inconveniences getting our room cleaned. The front desk staff is polite but we feel there is not a clear communication channel between the different staff at the property and the guests. I found myself texting the reception on WhatsApp to later find out what we agree on (cleaning) was not done.
The breakfast was super complete and the staff working in the restaurant was nice.

There was a discotheque blasting out music about 50 yards away. We did manage to get some sleep during the music which finished at 3am. I don't know if this is normal or not? It was an horrendous noise! Not the fault of the hotel.
The breakfast was very nice. Lovely hotel/hostal. Very old fashioned and very desirable. The staff were a little casual and one of them did give us another room due to noise issues. See below.

Rooms on the left side of the hotel were not as nice. Rooms need to be more consistent so that all stays are equally good.
