How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified review- Its a nice private place to get some rest. Especially during night it looks very cosy. - We also liked most of the employees who were very helpful to get for example a tuk tuk or in answering questions. - mini bar prices are decent - Comfortable bed
- the jacuzzi needs some cleaning (as mentioned by many other visitors). The water is not very dirty though, but the jacuzzi itself can use some cleaning. - the fridge was also not very clean. - its further away from piedra el penol and guatape. Means that you will spend a decent amount of time and money on traveling between the accommodation and these two places. Plan your visit well in that aspect. - the amenities are not very rich. We had for example only 2 forks and knives (no spoons), two plates, two wineglasses, two cups, some bbq cutlery. Not that we needed more (except from eating breakfast yoghurt bowl with our forks) - be aware that there is some noise from the air blowing machine. Didn’t disturb us too much though.

Verified reviewBubble Sky has all the magical forest seclusion you would hope for, and can be a truly romantic place. If you get lucky with a clear night, the star-watching could be excellent... on our stay, we got to watch a lightning storm instead, which was its own thrill. The jacuzzi was comfy, and breakfast was tasty.
On the minus side, the facilities definitely need better upkeep. I didn't realize the bubble deflates if you don't keep the door always sealed, and our exterior door had a leak and a broken zipper that we had to call to get a quick fix. Then we found out that there were multiple small holes and patches in the top, impeding the clear view and letting us get wet when it rained. The jacuzzi had one bubble setting: blast you in the face with water! And the wi-fi is basically non-existent. We also got the wrong dinner order and our bill wasn't itemized at the end... so to sum up: this is a very "roll with it" kind of place, probably less "glamorous" and more "camping".

Verified reviewWhen I had to pay for my one night stay, I used my Mastercard three times on their machine and they claimed that there wasn’t any network or my card didn’t work.. so I proceed to try my Visa card and apparently that card worked.. when all of this happened I didn’t have any WiFi so couldn’t check my bank statements.. when I checked my bank statement in the morning I realized that I was charged four times!!! Promptly telling the staff, and showing them the bank statements, they promise to transfer the money back to me.. and in my naive mind I just trusted them.. no money was refunded by the property!! Contacted the property multiple times but was told to wait, and they would get back to me.. but I never got a reply from them and they never got back to me or updated me on anything!! So my one night stay turned very expensive!! They are not seeing this as a serious matter.. very unprofessional property from my experience..

Verified reviewIt's really nice and the bed is comfortable!
Completely out of the way, and did not provide lunch so I had to order from some random place. They do not offer any type of transportation services to the town or anywhere and does not have any activities provided by the hotel. At least none that they told me about. The gate to my room couldn't lock which made me feel unsafe, and the receptionist did not have a good attitude and did not provide any support or alternatives. I left early because I did not feel safe or supported.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was great.. The staff was soo helpful and friendly.. They made our stay so much better.. I would definitely give the staff there a 10/10. Everyone was just soo helpful and I loved that.
The place was a little run down and could use a bit of work. The wifi was down for two days which was awful seeing that the area was remote and we could hardly get cell service. It would also be nice if the doors could actually close. That would be a great option and would offer a sense of security.

Verified reviewAwesome and unique experience in a secluded area. Food was delicious. Beautiful surrounding. I left a pair of pants there and the staff was nice enough to deliver it to me.
It looks great in pictures but sleeping in a plastic bubble isn't comfortable. It smells like plastic and you hear the air running all night. Plus it gets so hot you won't want to go in the bubble until it's night time. Jacuzzi can use cleaning as it's green. Wished they provided something to keep mosquitoes away while you're having dinner outside like a candle or something to burn to at least minimize them.

Verified reviewAmazing location in the forest. The bubble tent was really fun. I’d recommend this experience - great value for money. Super friendly helpful staff.
The water in the hot tub was green which was a bit off-putting. Also it was a bit chilly/rainy when we stayed and the water in the outdoor shower was a bit cold for the weather!

Verified reviewThe entire location was well kept and clean and the staff was responsive and very helpful.
As far as glamping goes, this was an amazing experience. The only item for minor attention was that the hot tub jets were set a bit too strong and there was too much splashing but we still had a great time in the tub and the setting was amazing. Highly recommend it.
