United StatesIt’s not the safest neighborhood to walk in after dark. This wasn’t really an issue since it’s easy/cheap to grab a taxi. We did walk to the waterfront from the hotel around 4pm and it was fine.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to chat over WhatsApp so could arrange taxis for the next day while we were out. We also ate a few dinners at the hotel after long days in Tayrona and the food and drinks were great. The pool and hammocks were also a highlight. We looked forward to coming back to the hotel every day.

CuraçaoThe area is not the best, but you can get anywhere with uber or inDrive. The ac in our room did not get as cold as we would’ve wanted, but it was manageable with the fan.
It’s a cute small hotel with friendly staff. The pool is beautiful and the food at the restaurant is good. There is a very lovely turtle walking around the pool area also that adds to the cuteness. The colors and decorations at the hotel give a lovely feel, we also liked the relaxing hammock areas. My daughter did not notice that she left her headphones in the room after check-out and the staff sent us messages and pictures to let us know and helped us get it back.

The actual hotel is lovely and relaxing. Having the onsite restaurant/cafe was great. 100% recommend this hotel!
