This is a wonderful and friendly hotel and one of my favourite stops in Columbia. Good breakfast and secure garage parking, good cafe next door as well. Near to everything including the street of cafes which was a nice place to go for a beer or coffee. Reception helped with printing off some documents we needed.

United KingdomNot a dislike but maybe wider breakfast selection would be nice? The breakfast offered is adequate but could benefit from a few additions. Also needs an option of a lightweight bed cover. Our quilt was too warm given that the window was closed for soundproofing.
Atmospheric, historical building, just off Plaza Caldas. Helpful, friendly staff. Quiet room with good soundproof, on the front of the building. Good restaurant in house.

Nice hotel in the centre of the old town of Popayán. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, at night it was usually very quiet and the room had window blinds completely darkening the room, so got a good sleep there.

First and foremost, the receptionist was the greatest. She was extremely friendly and helpful during the stay. You would have thought she owned the hotel by the service we received during our stay. The location is excellent, right in the middle of town and half a block from the downtown park. Breakfast is included and was excellent. The bedding was excellent and the hot shower seem to last forever. This was my third trip to Popayan and I had been to several hotels, Hotel Camino Real was the real deal.

The hotel is situated in the city centre. There are lots of restaurants around and a tourism office across the town square. The town is picturesque with white colonial houses all around and well worth stopping by. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very professional. The bed was made everyday and the bathroom is very clean with hot showers. We had a perfect stay!

United StatesThere was no fan (and no AC) available, and it was very hot weather. However luckily it did cool off in the night and was able to sleep (I like it a little cooler temperature). There were no windows into the outside (the windows were into an open center/courtyard- very aesthetically pleasing and unique but had to close them as to not let in mosquitoes/insects). I would suggest visitors bring a mosquito net to sleep in so that you can leave the windows open for a bit (however likely you would close them at night because the windows are easy enough for people to fit through). Visitors should also be prepared to hear every noise from rooms next door and from courtyard - remainder of hotel. The walls are thin and the structure is older so there are gaps under the doors for example so sound travels easily. That said, it also is very low cost so expectations must be managed accordingly.
Charming place. The food at their restaurant (I went for dinner) was excellent and the waitresses working at dinner were fabulous (10/10).Overall the management/owners run the place very well, are very professional and courteous and helpful. The location is great to what I needed. The hotel was very nice aesthetically with a huge open center with rooms surrounding it and a beautiful little courtyard in the center where the restaurant was. Also, considering the low price of stay it was well kept and felt safe.
