Dorm is on the fifth floor 🤣 which isn't that bad a thing, keeps you fit. Ac in the dorm was super nosy as was the wind howling. Earplugs solved this though.

Right on the beach. Awesome upstairs terrace to get work down, chill or do some pull-ups from the bar of the swings. Good deals on beers, quiet and close to shops and restaurants.

There is usually laud music at the front desk, which can make the lobby, pool, and other common areas a bit annoying. There are also private parties in the cafeteria of the hotel, which can be very laud, and do not let any guests in.

Our room hat a great view of the ocean and the mountains. It was very fresh in spite of the scorching sun in Santa Marta. In the back part of the hotel there is a estuary, where flocks of cranes and others birds can be seen.

The hostel doesn't have elevator, neither room services, then be advised if you need special attention. On the other hand, its has a river in the back which is really dirty. The customer services could be improved.

This Hostel is located just at the front of the beach, then has a wonderful Sunset. The food is excellent and the best, the price vs value is exceptional.

There is a river before de ocean that you have to cross. The people that work there are not nice at all. We didn’t stay there because the place wasn’t like they said it is so I canceled and they didn’t give me the money back.

I did not like anything they took my money even though I did not stay not even one night because it wasn’t what I thought it was. Is not like the pic!

The dorms. I suppose you get what you pay for. .beds very close together so no privacy at all, bed sheets a little grubby. No lockers for your stuff and no door lock either. Shower was not in a separate bathroom or shower room it opened straight onto dorm....so you have nowhere to undress or get changed in...

I stayed at Cantamar because it looked like was easy access to the beach, but that is not true. It has a very nice space with hammocks and palm tress where you can "relax" and watch the sunset, unfortunately next to the property there is an empty public space that many times of the day had people drinking ans sometimes these people entered the hotel property, so it did not feel really safe. the access to the property does not feel safe due to the presence of these persons along the day and evening, There are lockers but not on every floor or room, so very impractical....

I liked a lot the kindness of the staff. I love the pool and the breakfast was very good. Good chance to enjoy beautiful sunsets.
