Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

HungaryIt was so amazing, that I didn’t want to leave.
Perfect. Everything. Wonderful hosts, excellent food (I asked for vegetarian), superb rooms and even better shared spaces to relax in an incredibly rich natural setting. The Enchanted Pools are also very close and well worth the visit. I am grateful for this experience and would love to come back in the future.

GermanyEverything was great from what we wanted and fairly represented in the reviews. So know what to expect: simple lodging in a beautiful natural setting with great food and hosts, and see if the following is right for you: it's quite far from the beach, an "adventurous" ride uphill on motos, the rooms are very basic--no doors separating the toilets from the rest of the room, no a/c--but this is all fairly reflected in the price. If you focus on enjoying the incredible hospitality, the nearby nature and the poza, you'll have a great time!
Super amazing hosts--like visiting relatives! Alix and Brice are so cool, kind and hospitable. Brice is an amazing chef, and their pets are awesome. Highly recommend if you'd like to have a unique experience secluded in nature with lovely hosts.

CanadaThe setting is breathtaking—views that will steal your words. You can explore beaches, hike through nature, swim in the pristine waterfall, or just chill (frog songs at night are unreal). The accommodations are simple but more than enough when the vibe and the surroundings are this rich. The hosts? Next level. They’re not only friendly but also deeply interesting, making sure every detail of your stay feels personal. The food—prepared by the owner—is a highlight, every meal fresh and full of flavor. It’s clear from the conversations with Alix and Brice that they’re not just caretakers of the house. They’re storytellers, adventurers, and deeply rooted in the land. Their knowledge of the area adds so much to the experience. Honestly , their warmth and insight make the stay feel less like a getaway and more like being welcomed into a family. If you’re looking for a mix of adventure, serenity, and authentic connection, this place nails it. - [ ]

AustraliaCasa Alibri is one of the most unique locations I have ever stayed at. Situated in the jungle (but not too far from the coast) it offers the perfect escape from the busy city of Santa Marta, while not being as far away as some other options such as palomino and surrounding towns. The large, river fed, natural pool just below the house is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever swum. You are literally surrounded by the noises of the jungle the entire stay. Also worth a quick mention is the food! Brice (one of the co owners of the house) was a chef for 20 years. The food they have on offer there not only is super economical, but some of the best food I’ve had in very long time! Alix and Brice and extremely accommodating and friendly. They are always happy to have a chat or tell you lots about the history of the town, people and area. 100% will be back in the years to come! Also there are a few cute & well trained animals at house to accompany you as well!

The dogs and cats were also a hit with my daughter. A wonderful place to stay while exploring the local area.

GermanyThis place is really special and different from the other locations we stayed at during our travels in Colombia. It turned out being exactly what we expected when making the booking. Alix and Brice have created such a cozy and down to earth home in the hills of the amazing Sierra Nevada. The finca fits perfectly into the environment, which made us feel so at ease and so close to nature. We spent a precious time up there, having interesting talks with the two guys and other guests, being surrounded by lovely dogs and cats, enjoying the views over the landscape. The room was simple but clean and the bed was comfortable with a mosquito net (which is necessary, there are so many mosquitos in this area). The location is up in the hill. You can walk around 45 minutes or take a moto taxi from the main road, which is very convenient. The hosts will arrange moto taxis for you whenever needed.

IrelandWe loved our stay at Casa AliBri. Alex and Brix are incredibly welcoming and couldn't have been more obliging or helpful. The food is delicious and the location is fantastic, very off the beaten track. Our kids really enjoyed the stay and it will certainly be one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. I'd recommend anyone who wants to go somewhere off the beaten track to stay at Casa AliBri.

CanadaOur 6-night stay at Casa Alibri felt something like a soul retrieval. Here you will find all the essential ingredients of a bespoke vacation under the expert guidance of Alix and Brice, your exceptional hosts/ humans. With the diversity of activities available in in the local area there is curb appeal for all traveller profiles. However the tranquil setting of the property also lends itself naturally to the art of doing nothing, with its intentional fusion of beautiful food, meaningful connection, healing vistas and the jungle soundscape of the Sierra Nevada. While here you might find yourself contemplating what you have done to deserve your good fortune and the answer is probably not enough, but fortunately sometimes the universe provides anyway. Hours after our departure the pervasive sentiment was that of wonder and of loss. Casa Alibri truly is a Columbiam microcosm that reminds us of our unity and shared humanity. It beckons your return and your gratitude. Thank you.

United KingdomThis is not the fault of the property but we would like to mention that the shower is cold (but you’re staying in the tropics so this is common) and there are bugs so bring bug spray!
Our stay at Casa Alibri was fantastic. We were essentially invited into the home of Ali and Bri along with their cats and dogs. Prior to our arrival Ali was very responsive to our queries regarding how to get to their place (it’s a bus from Santa Marta and a motorbike taxi from the main road next to Parque Tayrona) and our dietary requirements. During our stay Bri cooked us some amazing vegan food using local ingredients. He also made us a great packed lunch for our trip into Parque Tayrona. We also got time to hang out with each of them and hear about their life which was a great personal touch. In terms of the place, our room was sparkling clean and nicely decorated. There are many communal spaces to enjoy the beautiful views surrounding the property. Water is provided for free and Ali and Bri offer food and some alcohol and soft drinks which was really handy. To top it off Ali took us on a mini tour of their grounds and for a private swim in their pool before our departure - this was incredible! This stay was one of the highlights of our trip and is unbelievable value for money.

IrelandCold showers.
The best accommodation I've stayed in a long long time. Beautiful surroundings, close enough to Tayrona and Costeno beach, lots of birds and beautiful nature all around with no one else in sight. The hosts were incredible and welcoming, making the place very homely. The food (as vegetarians) was some of the best we've had here.

United KingdomAlix and Brice are incredible hosts who go to every effort to ensure you can make the most of your stay, whatever your plans! Briefly, the location is amazing - close to Tyrona National Park but still far enough off the beaten track so that you feel as if you’re in a private part of the forest. The noises of the wildlife in the evening are amazing, especially whilst. relaxing in the hammock and watching the sunset. The food is always excellent and will leave you wondering whether you ever want to leave. Definitely try the fish as it’s sourced locally and tastes incredible. I think it’s the perfect retreat to spend a few nights and change pace if you’ve been spending lots of time in busy hostels. Even when all rooms are occupied the hostel still feels spacious and private. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and there’s plenty to do in the surround area - just ask your hosts for any recommendations! Thank you so much for an perfect stay!!!🫶

United KingdomIf you are wondering whether or not to stay here please stop and just BOOK IT NOW!! Alix and Brice were both amazing. We loved our stay here and it will definitely be one of the highlight of our entire 6 months travelling. We were recommended to stay here and we were so glad that we did. It is a little slice of heaven with incredible views, a gorgeous secluded nearby swimming spot in the river and wonderful hosts. Brice cooked us amazing and affordable vegan food for our whole stay with delicious fresh ingredients from their finca. There is a gorgeous hammock spot overlooking the mountains, also with a view of the sea. Although they were having a problem with their electricity (and we were told in advance of staying) we decided to stay anyway. They worked extra hard to make sure we were comfortable on our stay regardless, evening arranging a day trip down the river which we all did together. Would absolutely stay again in the future. Perfection.

Perfect place to relax in nature with amazing hosts. We wanted somewhere to recover after doing the Lost City Trek, and we chose the ideal place. The area has so much wildlife, and the natural pool nearby is great to cool off. There's lots of places to relax, read etc, and having so many animals around makes a really nice atmosphere. The food was great and both Alix and Brice were really kind hosts. It's very secluded, so there's nothing much nearby (like shops etc) but that's exactly what we wanted! The dogs are very friendly and sweet too. We would definitely recommend, hopefully we can return one day!
