It’s a leave you alone kinda place, which I liked. They take care of you and the staff is attentive but like many reviewers before me said it’s closer to an Airbnb than hotel but I preferred that. Plenty of amenities but not so much staff in your face all the time.

Breakfast was big, yummy and on-time. Delivered to your room or to a small table by the pool on the main floor. Great value and again tasty options. Would have loved to have a coffee pot in my room.

Only room for improvement would be beverage service on the roof! Pool lounge chair cushions could use an extra cleaning during the day, but nothing that couldn’t be overlooked.

The location was perfect - in the center of everything. The rooms were air-conditioned well and the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and the pool on the roof was very nice at night adn the views were great.

The place is a little expensive for what seems need minor maintenance. For example, shower drain needs to be unclogged so it drains properly. Some of the furniture is damaged and needs to be fixed. I did not like that the snacks were laid out without me knowing what was complimentary or paid. I ended up using a bag coffee that was not included, which is something that is always included in any other hotel. For the price of ~500 USD/night, I expected a flawless experience in Cartagena. However, it was close to that.

The place is clean, spacious, and well decorated* (*read below). The location is great, and the breakfast delivered to the loft is a nice touch. The AC can get as cold as a polar bear would like.

It was perfect. Only issue was the hot water heater wasn't working and had to take cold showers but it was 90 degrees outside so i didnt mind.

Our room did not have views to the outside city but the rooftop deck makes up for this.

Love that it is centrally located one block from the Plaza Aduana, San Pedro Claver and the lush Plaza de Bolivar and Palacio de la Inquicision. Love the courtyard style architecture with a modern twist. Very comfy beds and spacious suite with kitchen and laundry. And quite a terrific and quiet rooftop pool with fabulous views over the roofs of the historic Cartagena.

One of the areas by the pool seemed to be under construction so it wasn’t fully in use.

It was very clean and private! We got upgraded to the best room because it was our honeymoon and it was so spacious.

The only thing we might have expected was a roof bar but that was our fault not the hotels (they never claimed to have one - just us misunderstanding) and there are plenty close by if you really wanted to do that. The hotel are also absolutely fine with taking bought drinks or mini bar drinks up to the roof top though to enjoy a sundowner on the roof terrace.

Hotel was beautiful. Unique layout of rooms and in an absolutely fantastic location. Few minutes stroll from the wall in a really pretty street. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pools were beautifully located with sunbeds and towels provided. Not many rooms in this hotel - it really is boutique but that made it quiet and relaxing.

Wi-Fi didn’t work great.

Really great place that’s great for families because the room has a separate king bedroom and two full baths that were each very large. The rooftop had awesome views and the pool was so nice.

We liked everything.

Everything. Could not have picked a better hotel for our 4 night stay. Huge and comfortable apartment-style rooms with full kitchen, laundry room, balcony, etc. Great breakfast included, brought to our apartment every morning. You get to pick between several breakfast options. Beautiful rooftop with great views, 2 pools, and nice and helpful staff.

We were initially given a room whose only window gave directly on the hotel lobby space. It would have meant a room without a window - for six days! Luckily we were changed to a great room. The breakfasts are pre-prepared - for no reason I can understand, so that the hot part of the meal is cold. Breakfast is not served with honey or jam (just peanut butter!) and the four choices are joyless. The common space is very limited and in the room there is no desk where I could work. No glasses are provided in the room (aside from two champagne flutes) and the water is available either in the mini-bar or purchased in town. This seems an unnecessary limitation for a hotel of this category.

The location of the hotel is perfect - in the Old Town and close to all the key attractions. We had a room on the roof terrace which gave us near-exclusive use of the pool and lots of outdoor space.
