How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I stood in a queue to check in for about 20 minutes, which wasn’t ideal with a 3-year old. The toilet in room 324 didn’t flush well. I didn’t like that there was only a small bottle of water in the room for free and the rest you had to pay for. The pool area looked ok, but you need a swimming cap to go in and, of course, they charge you 7000 COP for it. There’s also a bit of construction happening around it. I didn’t get to use the sauna, but would’ve liked to. On our last day, we rushed out of the room to get a taxi to the airport and the elevators stopped on our floor 7 times completely full of people from some type of convention. It lost us about 20 minutes which means we were very late getting to the airport. I don’t recommend this hotel if you’re only staying in bogota a night or two as you need at least 45 mins to the airport, considering there is no traffic. They do try with the vegan options, but it all looks very unappealing. Decaf coffee is available, but you have to order it and then it’s just instant powder. I asked a waiter for hot water for my cup, and I’m still waiting 5 days later.
The room was big with 2 comfortable double beds. Some people might find the bed a bit soft, but it was heavenly for me. The bathroom was also spacious with a very good shower; hot water and great pressure. Breakfast was good, but I lacked a few more fresh things. They had very good gluten-free bread though. The gym is large with all the equipment you might need. The area around the hotel is great to walk around in, especially by Parque 93, which is just 13 min walk away.

I had to ask for a robe and slippers, they should be in the room on arrival and as they are needed for the gym and SPA etc.,
Breakfast was excellent with wonderful spread of fruit, and friendly staff circulating the tables offering coffee with a smile.

We would've like to do an early morning swim, but the pool wasn't open till later.
We loved the space in the big rooms, we were coming and going around Colombia and Peru and did a lot of 're-packing' so this extra space was wonderful. One of the few hotels where all 3 our children could have enough space in one room. They were happy to store all the luggage we didn't take on various trips around the rest of Colombia and Peru with us, which was very helpful. The gym is great, the breakfast is stunning and the location is excellent.

A little strict with the passport policy but we worked it out.
Staff was nice and helpful. Accommodations were very nice. Bed was comfortable.

The top floor was under renovation. One of the pictures of the hotel that made me pick and stay there was to be able to go up to the top floor and sit and enjoy the view.

I have no complaints.
The hotel is big and beautiful. The beds are so comfortable. The rooms are a nice size. The staff are friendly. Many spoke english. The rooftop pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was amazing, witg many options.

Great hotel and loved the lobby area. Breakfast was amazing and so much variety. Gym, Spa and pool was great. Rooms were good size but could use a renovation. Good location and 20 mins taxi to main areas. Would recommend the hotel
