The pool looks great but it’s tiny and didn’t see evidence of any filtering system. We didn’t go in it, just in case.

The location in the old walled city is great. Right in the heart of it. The hotel is full of character and the rooms all different. Not luxury though. Bear in mind there’s no lift. This hotel had the best breakfast we ate in our month long trip around Colombia staying in mid grade accommodation. We didn’t know that was going to be the case as we started off in this hotel!

Beds were ok…could feel the springs but overall ok Shower drain was super slow and they ask you to turn the water off while lathering your hair WiFi was weak Lost electricity twice during our 3 day stay

A smoke alarm needed it's battery replaced .... We asked for it to be sorted on day 1, but nothing had changed by day 4. A small thing, but could be heard day and night in the communal areas. I'm absolutely sure it's a temporary fault that will love resolved quickly.

Room was excellent, shower great, and staff brilliant. Breakfast was generous and served in a timely way. Overall it was a very good, almost excellent stay. The location is perfect if you want to be in the historic centre ... In the hub of Cartagena.

“While I apologize for my sisters' behavior regarding the water issue, it was frustrating that the hotel did not offer complimentary water to guests, instead selling it. For a group booking five rooms and arriving thirsty after a walk, a more welcoming approach, including basic amenities like free water, would be greatly.

A bit of noise coming from the streets since you are right in the center. But still I managed to sleep ok probably cause I was too tired from the heat in Cartagena.

Lovely hotel, quite a historical building and beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room felt always very fresh, even without the air conditioning on, fantastic when arriving from the heat outside.

Only complaint is wifi needs to be better but if you are going to Cartagena for good wifi then you really should stay home. Didn’t mind the lack of elevator but make sure you are ready for the steps.

The hotel had quite a few issues with electricity a couple of the days. One of the days it was out from morning to evening, knocking out air conditioning (a challenge in the tropical climate) and WiFi. The A/C was a bit difficult to regulate for comfort, too. Other than that, however, no complaints.

Breakfast was wonderful, with good food and very friendly and attentive staff serving freshly prepared choices at tables in the hotel's courtyard. The location, right in the midst of Old Town, was perfect, and quite reasonably priced.

The only downside was the noise from the street. At one point during the night some cars kept pushing the horns for about 5-10 minutes, and two hours again. But that’s the location we asked for, we just didn’t expect it. Also, our room didn’t have a window so we were a bit surprised but later it turned out as good because we slept so well without light. WiFi stopped working at one point but when we informed the staff, they reset the router and it worked again. So that was solved pretty fast. The tables at the restaurant were all shaky so we had to be careful not to spill anything, but the delicious food and kindness of staff made up for it.

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of the old part of the city. The staff are all incredibly kind and welcoming. The ambiance is beautiful, better than on the photos. Our room was so cosy, old style, lovely. Everyone who works here was helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The staff at the reception helped us book our next stay on Rosario Islands and gave us advice how to get there. We are truly thankful.

The property was in a great location of the Walled City and next to everything. This made it easy to move around. It was facing the street though which was busy each night and a little loud. The hotel had a beautiful old charm to it and the staff were very accommodating. They were doing some renovations while I was there which was a little annoying since they would start by 8am and it loud. Which I knew about this beforehand. But a good stay overall.

Excellent location in the historic centre of Cartagena, within easy walking distance to the Convention Centre. The staff were friendly and very helpful prior to arrival and throughout the stay. Very good breakfast. There is noise in the busy street below but it wasn't all that noticeable to me (although I didn't experience a Friday or Saturday night!).
