Not much. Only My room doesn't have airflow and got some fusty smell. And even though they have smoking area but I still can smell from everywhere

I love the atmosphere in Casa Kayam. It look a bit hippee and cozy. Even though the hostel is a bit far from the center but you are among the nature. You can get some fresh air and close to the nature. No worries, Small stores are near by. Nice common area. I love the green grass that we can do sport, yoga, skateboard etc.. They have yoga mat for using as well(just ask for it). Kitchen has all basic stuffs. Toilets and bathrooms are enough and clean. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. I stayed in dorm room. Every beds have own curtains. Bathrooms was perfect. The location is 2 km by walk to the terminal and center

We found the walk from town a bit too long with all our bags, we’d recommend taking a Moto there.

Due to electric showers there’s not enough water pressure if you want to have a hot shower.

The place is a huge playground, very open, safe, and green. Just at the right spot out of the town just a leap to wild nature. The staff was great and super friendly and helpful, great place to get stuck for long time.

This hostel is the best hostel I’ve seen so far in Columbia, the vibe and the energy there are amazing, they have many chill area, a big garden, everybody was so nice, we made a fire outside with musicians, it’s really clean. Special thank you to Oscar for his kindness and his help for everything. I was supposed to stay 1 night and I stayed 4, I would have stay 2 weeks if I didn’t have a flight to catch. Thank you so much 💜

The property is located about a 20 mins walk from the main town of Guatape which was perfect for us. It felt like a retreat with amazingly calm surroundings. The facilities are perfect for a relaxing night in the hostel, socialising with other artists and travellers. This hostel has been the highlight of our Colombia trip so far. Would highly recommend. Kevin offered us an amazing bird watching and photography experience too for an additional price, but it was a lovely experience that other hostels do not offer.

It's farm land so I can't complain much, but you will just find horse poop in the main path. The tent is also quite thin so you could be woken up by the animals outside, or hear your neighbors.

Location was out of the main town area, but it was still easy to walk there or have food delivered. We stayed in a glamp style tent and that was amazing! We loved our private balcony overlooking the hostel and the entire farmland.

Fantastic community! They put a lot of effort into curating a delightful energy of connection with fellow travelers, chilling out, and enjoying time together. An easy place to spend a lot of time in, and at a super affordable price! The hike to the small waterfall is highly enjoyable, with a refreshing swim as a reward at the end!

Dorm was a little dark and lacking ventilation in the bathroom, but honestly this wasn't a problem! Guests could have made a better effort to keep the kitchen clean in the evenings, so many people cooking one after the other that no one has a real chance to properly clean up after themselves. However this is not the fault of the hostel and as I say, staff cleaned it every morning and left it spotless!

Wonderful hostel in beautiful location 20 minutes walking out of Guatape. Staff are fantastically helpful and friendly, large property with loads of varied spaces for any and all activities whether you want to chill and read, slackline, play music, socialise, paint, do yoga/workouts etc. Location is beautiful (don't stay in town!) with trails to waterfalls and a mirador beginning directly from the property, and you can walk up to the observation deck to watch the sunset everynight or use it for yoga/stretching in the morning (or any time!). Kitchen is large and cleaned every morning, dorm was comfortable and shower had hot water. Well stocked grocery shop, about 5 minutes walking away, that sells everything you would need to cook yourself a good meal.

I wish the breakfast had been a little less expensive, though it was excellent. aside from that I have no complaints!

the meal i had there was wonderful! the perfect fuel for my adventures, it was also a nice short walking distance from the town, so it was nice and quiet, but not too far from the grocery store or any of the tourist centres in town. it was also nice to be so close to the natural spaces nearby.
