We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe bed will be a bit hard for some but better than the sponge you find in other places. We had no hot water but that is not unusual for warm climates in Colombia. Otherwise, the place is perfect. The place to stay in Curiti.
The place is clean, neat, and evidently recently remodeled. They have a wonderful collection of tastefully displayed antiques (for sale, by the way). Luis Felipe is a wonderful host who understands customer service. He even found a place for us to park. The breakfast was well worth the COP 20,000.

United KingdomI have no idea why other people have enjoyed this place. Our visit started with being moved to a smaller room, because the owner "needed the room for someone else". We assumed this would result in a price reduction, but this was absolutely not the case. The hotel is twice the cost of anything else in Curiti, so we assumed the jacuzzi would be readily available as part of the regular service. The owner reluctantly turned it on, and left us a missed call while we were having dinner because I imagine at 200,000 pesos a night he can't afford to heat it at 4 degrees above ambient temperature for more than 30 minutes. He made no mention of an extra breakfast charge, and wanted to charge us 18,000 pesos for a couple of arepas, some fruit and a coffee. When challenged on this, he said it was our fault we hadn't had our money's worth since we "didn't order the eggs". A hotel with some potential but ruined by a truly, truly awful human being. With so many great hotels and great people in Santander, this is one to avoid at all costs. To be honest, the experience means we'll be giving Curiti a miss next time.
