How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There’s construction happening right out of our room we could see them through the window and they had access to our terrace so we never used it

Some of the rooms feel very cold. The heaters don't work all the time.
The facilities are very clean, especially the bedspread. The rest of the hotel is very well kept.

Bathroom amenities need upgrades. Soap dispenser was broken and leaked soap continuously.

My comments refer to the Triple room (room 104). The room has very little natural light (coming only from glass panels in the door). The breakfast patio is directly in front of the door so there is a lot of noise at breakfast time. We were provided with just two bath towels and very limited bathroom toiletries.
Hotel is excellently located in the pedestrian area of Usaquen with many restaurants, bars and cafes immediately to hand

There were a few drawbacks. The Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the selection of TV channels was limited, so entertainment options were lacking. Additionally, the breakfast is more suitable for light eaters—not ideal if you’re someone who prefers a hearty meal to start the day. There was also a shortage of water during my stay, which was a bit inconvenient.
I recently stayed here and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was nice and cozy, providing a comfortable space to relax. The staff was absolutely amazing—always friendly, attentive, and eager to help, which truly elevated my stay.

It’s a bit old, floor had holes. The fact that doors have vents you can hear all the noice from outside and probably everything inside as well.
It’s a cozy boutique hotel, that blends very well with the architecture of Usaquén.

The area is experiencing water shortages, as a hotel they should already be better prepared to handle this situation, and have the necessary infrastructure, e.g. a water tank!

Our room was leaking a lot of sounds both from the restaurant on one side and the corridors on the other which is the only reason I am not giving it a 10/10.
Amazing staff, great breakfast and nice facilities, the neighborhood is beautiful and there are multiple nice restaurants in the neighborhood.

The room last year was exelent, but this year the room did not have any windows which I personally did not like. I would come to stay again but ask for a room upstairs with windows.
I stayed here before and loved it. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they did go out of there way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Its a quiet location, the hotel is save and secluded. Its in the middle of Usaquen with lots of restaurants and cafes just outside and very close to the sunday market I wanted to visit.

The breakfast is maybe too little quantity, but for the price/quality, this shall be enough for people who do not eat much in the mornings.
The location is right in Usaquen but not in the noisy area. 5 min walk to the Santa Barbara Mall and to the mercado de las pulgas. Closeby (3min) walk to a Parking where the hotel has good rates arranged.
