Our first chosen suite was far but beautiful. We are an older couple that rather be near by the restaurant and parking space. We recommend this suite for young couples and families. Great room for honeymooners! I need to add that the owner was able to switch us to a closer suite the next day.

The owner was very attentive to our needs and helpful providing us with information and details about the city. The part I loved the most was that the owner made himself available patiently with a smile on his face even though we were late a night a few times. Deeply appreciate his professionalism and kindness. I truly loved and enjoy his "Arepas", a typical Colombia tortilla, made by her mother by hand who added extra ingredients like cheese making more tastier and delicious. KUDOS TO HIS MOTHER OR GRANDMOTHER!

There's nothing to complaint about

Everything about this amazing Eco Hotel is to like , from the host Alejandro ,his Wife and the staff , the spectacular outdoor areas, nature its literallyat your door , the designs of each cabin-room , loved the shower and the jacuzzi tub !! We spent 8 nights there and the service i give it 5stars its top notch , the food was great so fresh! They are so accommodating , the communication is great and on point, easy access to the property, close to all the towns we planned to visit and attractions like parque del cafe , can't say enough about this place , we did not want to leave:( but will be back for sure and we are telling friends and family about this warm and comfortable place, it really feels like home.

Not much, there are some bugs so bring your bug spray but it is to be expected as you are so close to nature.

The location is second to none. Marcela and Alejandro were very helpful and kind and even helped to organise a taxi for us when needed. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance which were handy. We had dinner one of the nights which was freshly prepared and was super delicious. Similarly, the breakfast was super tasty with many local and homemade foods.

The Fan makes noise, we could not use it

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house). If you don't like insects, then this is not the place for you. But maybe you shouldn't book a beautiful place in nature like this, then :)

The owner responded super fast on Whatsapp before our stay and waited for us when we arrived. He asked us what we'd like for breakfast and at what time. Great hospitality! In the morning we used the jacuzzi, that was the reason my partner and I picked this cabin. With the sound of birds in the background, our morning couldn't get better.

The cabin's cleanliness needs improvement. While we understand that being an outdoor cabin may result in insects and bugs getting inside, it is important to ensure the cabin is thoroughly checked before guests arrive for animal debris or bugs.

The cabin has a great aesthetic, blending modern design with natural elements. However, the lighting and the the walkway down leading to the cabin could be improved. The Breakfast and dinner were wonderful.

The rooms are a bit rustic but clean enough given it’s on a working farm as expected. The property also is having trouble with foreign credit cards so our 50% deposit didn’t go through. We were going to have to pay the 5% credit card fee on the entire amount of our stay but we ended up paying in cash as we luckily had enough.

The breakfast included with room fee and the optional home cooked dinner was definitely worth a try. Although the property is right next to a very busy through street with lots of semi trucks, the rooms were fairly quiet. The hosts are so friendly and wonderful!
