A beautiful property a couple of miles out of Salento. We had a 2 bed property so plenty of space for us as a family of 4. Buses run along the main road regularly which you can hop on to. Salento is a beautiful place and we went in every day of our 3 days. There is a great waterfall walk from the door which included waterfalls, caves and wobbly bridges which we also really enjoyed.

The location is perfect! It is quiet with a wonderful garden and walking distance to the Santa Rita waterfall and a few local restaurants. Very friendly staff and remember to look for the hummingbirds that are passing by regularly.

As I said, we're not cottage people, so take this as coming from people who are not used to this kind of vacation. This said, the cottage would in my opinion need some adjustments. There were holes between the wooden planks of the walls that would need to be filled somehow, and same goes with the gap between the door and the floor. This allows insects to get in (fortunately, nothing bigger) and I don't know if there might be leaks when it rains or when it's really windy - we were lucky in this sense because it didn't rain at all during our stay. Also, the structure makes it quite chill at night so take some warm clothes with you. And READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION! You need to climb a 80-something steps long staircase to get there, that's not exactly easy with large suitcases. This we didn't like - especially when we had to check out, as the stairs are quite steep. But not the owners' fault, we just didn't pay attention to this detail in the description! Also, that's the only place in Colombia that charged us +3% because we decided to pay by card, so take cash with you! Anyway, we were aware of this and it didn't come as surprise.

We had 2 different reservations. We spent the first 2 nights in a cottage and the 3rd one in a family suite. Cottage: allow me to say that we're not exactly cottage people. But it was ok all in all, very basic but good for a short stay Family suite: we liked it more than the cottage, it felt more "consistent" as a construction itself. The reason why we had chosen the cottage in the first place was because of the kitchen, but if I had to rebook, I'd definitely prefer the suite. The whole property itself is really beautiful, super green, well curated, with a lot of butterflies and humming birds. The staff is great, they're really friendly! And greetings to Lupe <3

Great place! Peaceful and very friendly. We love Lupita, the watch dog. Staff was great and helpful all the time, and breakfast delicious. Very highly recommended. We will be back!

Our cabin was on top. Very nice, but also many stairs

Nice location, a bit outside the village. You will need a car to go somewhere or a taxi. Friendly people at reception and restaurant. Good food at restaurant. Laundry service!

I had a wonderful experience at EcoHotel Piedemonte. The setting was serene, surrounded by nature, and the hotel’s eco-friendly design was both beautiful and functional. Rooms were cozy. I got a free upgrade to a room with a private garden and outdoor jacuzzi hot tub. This hotel was my favourite hotel of my entire Colombian trip. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Even had a resident dog to cuddle !

Nothing, everything was Great!!!

Wow, this place was beyond expectations! The property is right on a stream and is surrounded by nature. The cabin I stayed in was so tranquil. Breakfast included, dinner at extra cost, hot water in the showers, everything is clean, laundry for a small fee, bugnets for the bed provided if desired. Everything I needed was right here. 10/10!

It's a long walk uphill to the "family" lodge. It's a bit of a distance to Salento and you needed a taxi because the road is very narrow and winding (plus one night we were in a fog back coming down the hill which only disappeared when we got to the river)

Maybe that the spa services were a bit overpriced for just one hour but other than that...everything was really nice!

The hotel was really cute and the outdoors area was really amazing!! The rooms were really spacious and comfortable with its own seating area outside where we could relax. The location is really good as it is only 15 min drive to Salento.

The bathroom was very small and the shower wasn’t working very well. The breakfast is a little small as you have a plate of choice and thats it

It was so clean, quiet and comfortable. I had some of the best sleeps in my whole trip here. It was really good value for money, nice breakfast and friendly staff. The bus into town is super easy and cheap, a few minutes walk away to the bus stop.

Mattresses and pillows could be softer.

Nice quiet location just few minutes drive from Salento and 20 min from Filandia. Our room was next to the river and it was great to hear it flows. Super nice hosts. Good breakfast, wonderful garden.

In general it was all very good! The only thing I can suggest is for breakfast they should have available all the options they offer. I went early to have breakfast, and what I wanted was not available.

The place is clean and the rooms are comfortable. It is surrounded by nature, and it is perfect to disconnect from the hectic life in the city.
