Super welcoming hosts. Gave us an extra cabana at no extra cost as our 3 children are grown up-(Booking.com hadn't passed them that information). Beautiful place. Orlando helped buy some medicine for my son. Also gave great tips on walking to Tayrona park. Andrea cooked fantastic meals and had interesting stories about Tawaca. Facilities were great.

Andrea and family are beautiful people. This place is magic. They care a lot about respecting the nature's place. A couple of issues came about but they put all the effort to solve them.

everything was more than good.

The Staff was extraordinary friendly, professional and went out of their way many times to make fulfill some extra wishes. The place, tho partly still in construction during our stay, is amazingly beautiful and offer different places and things to chill and do. hammocks, natural pool, fire pit, karaoke/live musik possible. they installed a new wifi before we arrived and we had solid connection in all areas to comfortably watch videos and make video calls. if you have any questions about how to get where and need help, just ask the staff and owner and they will gladly help you.

This place is magical! It has been the best experience out the whole trip to Colombia, Andrea and her husband are amazing hosts, incredibly helpful, I have no words that can be used to describe how perfect Tawaca and its crew are, the location, is in the forest, the drinks, the service, the employees, especially Claudia, the cabins, the beds the natural pool, the jacuzzi, the cicadas, and just a few minutes from Tayrona.

Such an amazing place so beautiful. Great place to gp and relax, or a good base for trips out and about. It's located on the main road sp buses are easily accessible. Andrea is an amazing host ❤️ . The breakfast provided was more than enough and kept you fuelled fpr long treks out to the jungle. The other items on the food menu (which is open 24hr) are amazing for the price and beautifully prepared. You won't be disappointed. Just remember your in the jungle so there will be bugs but if that's not your thing I doubt you would be in santa marta anyway ! 😉 I'll be back for sure !

The best place we have stayed in colombia. The family are the nicest people and did everything to make us feel at home. The home cooked meals were the best food we have eaten in 2 months of backpacking. We also did a tour to tayrona national park that was organized by the owner. This was the fantastic as we avoided al the queues and ended being the very first people to enter the park. Sensational. The place is a dream. The natural pool is beautiful. The pet dogs and the pet ducks are lovely. There was also a rescued horse who lived within the grounds who was very friendly popped her head in to the bungalow every now and then to say hello. The room was perfect and the bed was 5* comfortable. We loved this place and the value for money is incredible. Thank you, Nelson and your family for the time we had.

Well, I was seeing other people's comments about the power of the water. ro actually seems normal to me.

The location is exceptional, having the opportunity to live in the middle of nature with comforts is amazing and listening to the birds sing and the fresh air and well-organized facilities, I really liked it. For lovers of a healthy life and adventurous good living and also those who like peace, it is a very appropriate place. I was sad not to stay longer but my next vacation we will be back. The room was really dirty, lots of bugs, cobwebs on the ceiling, bed was old and lumpy. No TV in the room as advertised but they bought one on request, no bedside tables. Lots of rubbish around the grounds and unfinished parts of the resort as well as large barking dogs in a cage. There’s elements of design in the main restaurant but has potential to be so much nicer with a bit more maintenance, cleanup and finishing - the owners are so lovely I hope they action that. Was also unfortunate so many trucks on main road so close so wasn’t so peaceful.

The staff here are really lovely and attentive and the breakfast was great as well as free cocktails, the garden around has so much potential as does the resort but the disrepair and cleanliness really let it down, we were disappointed considering the other reviews, also the large pool was under maintenance and we weren’t told when we booked.
