Amazing helpful and friendly staff. It. feels far more private that other properties and is away from the loud boats as much as possible. The flight on the flying boat should not be missed.

There is quite a lot of activity on the lake with loud music in the afternoon and lots of jet ski which was really surprising to us but nothing to do with the hotel. It is just how Guatape is. It stops quite early at night so there s absolutely no trouble from 8pm

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to escape the city centre. It is easily reachable by the local tuktuk in 10min. We even walked by foot to reach La piedra from the hotel. The staff of El Trebol was really amazing, super accomodating, reactive and friendly, making us feel at home. The views are spectacular and you can do paddle or kayaking from the hotel. The gardener is making the hotel garden look really pretty We loved the breakfast being served at our cabin and the breakfast wrap is delicious. I highly recommend staying there if you want to avoid the big hotels.

Perfect location with beautiful landscaping. Very peaceful with plenty of areas to sit outside and enjoy the view. Very nice casita with 2 nice bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.

Lovely and quiet in a nice location with brilliant views of the lake. Breakfast is great. The hosts are always on hand to answer question and help arrange activities. The internet worked well for a rural location.

Fabulous location at the end of a peninsula. Comfortable cabana. Fun activities including the must do paragliding like raft boat. (Awesome!)

The road is a little rough but completely passable. We had a car - not sure if a tuk tuk could always make it all the way to the property and the walk would be hard. Some cabins are attached but we never got any complaints about our noise and heard very little.

El Trébol is on a peninsula into the lake so there are lake views everywhere. The cabins are adorable, comfortable and private. They bring breakfast to an umbrella covered table just outside your cabin. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. All staff members are friendly and accommodating. Communication was proactive and easy. Short drive into town which has a lot to see and interesting restaurants

Our host was gracious and the bungalow was adorable. We had a view of El Penon from our outdoor breakfast table. The peaceful setting on the lake was stunning, we ended up staying an extra night because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Easy to get around via tuk-tuk and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for the wonderful stay, worth every peso.

Some of the tuk tuk drivers had issues getting into the property due to the steep hills which meant we had to walk the long path back. You need a driver to be able to go anywhere but it is very worth it for staying at this property with the views. The property will also help you call drivers and anything else you can think of.

Beautiful property with lakeside views from our room. The property is very quiet and peaceful and we loved having our breakfast delivered to our own private table outside our room. The service and accommodations are amazing, everyone is so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The owner called drivers for us when needed, explained how to get to certain places, and answered any questions we had about the area. She also speaks English if needed. The property also has food and drinks available for purchase if you don’t want to go into town. There are many water activities you can rent right on the property such as kayaks, paddle boards, and boats. El Peñol can be seen from much of the property and is very close by.

Beautiful caravan equipped with every comfort. Wonderful view of La Piedra del Peñol. Hammock and private bicycle. Very good breakfast. 15min Tuk-tuk from city center, perfect spot for a retreat in the nature.

The road off the main road was okay without rain…however we were concerned that it might rain and we would have a hard time getting out (to muddy and sloppy for a small car for eg). We had an SUV so not as concerned but a small car and rain wouldn’t have been ideal.

Fantastic staff and location. - We arrived late because of a problem With our rental car and the staff was keeping in touch with us through whatsapp to make sure we knew where to go. She was waiting for us in front of the cabin and welcomed us warmly. - We loved the location: the cabins are pretty isolated from the main road but it’s a quick 10 min in tuk tuk to the Piedra del Peñol and you can perfectly see it from the hotel. It is the perfect location both for families or couples. Great place for pictures! The tuk tuk trip to el Peñol was conveniently organized by the hotel. - Breakfast was amazing, with eggs, fruit, juice, coffee, chocolate, arepas, etc… - We were also able to do a private boat tour on the represa. - The reception had a bathroom and lockers, as well as a few snacks. So even after check out we were able to refresh and change clothes (after being wet from the boat ride). - Upon arrival we found wine, beer, coke, waters, snacks in the room with the prices clearly stated. It was perfect for the kids. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable (the sofa bed not so much but fine for a kid).

Everything was ok. Even getting there in a motochiva was fun.

The view is gorgeous from one side you see a lake from the other side you see the peñol rock. Quiet, and peaceful . Staff is so helpful and nice.

The landscape is awesome, great location,the service was great, but the best recommendation which is a MUST is taking a 20 min drive in the FIB (flying inflated boat)!!
