Good community with great group events (free group salsa lessons, group nights out on the town). The hostel is quiet after midnight, allowing good sleep. Ideal location for salsa dancing and generally safe neighbourhood. Great restaurants and cafes nearby and a short walk/uber to Boulevar del Río and Salsa Street. Highly recommended

The bunks were more cramped than any hostel I’d ever been to, despite this Viajero being quite expensive compared to other hostels in the area. The lockers were tiny and located under the bed so there was no other place for belongings.

It was very social, with lots of activities. Karín was an excellent guide for nights out. The pool area and bar were great, and so was the location in San Antonio.

Didn’t have much common toilets, always closed in the morning

Great atmosphere in the common area. I can definitely recommend the salsa lesson with Natalia: the private lesson was amazing!

The 6 dorm room felt very cramped and difficult to organise belongings. The food at the restaurant was not amazing IMO. The standard of the rooms and beds is not as high as other Viajeros I have visited.

The common areas are great. Really easy to meet people and I made lovely friends. The staff are sooooo nice, especially Maria! Salsa classes are also great, especially with Vanessa. 😄 Also great cheap places to eat both next door and across the road (panaderia).

Great place to landed in Cali with an amazing atnosphere and good facilities. Staff were very helpul anf generous. and specifically Maira which was very welcoming with a huge smile ready to help in everything needed with a big heart. Highly recommended.

the staff was super helpful and kind, especially a big shoutout to Maria who was amazing. Very good breakfast options, super nice pool, lots of activities during the day and very good parties at night. The salsa lesson are very good quality and quite cheap if you take the package.

I had the 8 person room at first and it felt too small. People were having suitcases that didn't fit the locker underneath the bed so there were all over on the narrow pathway between beds. So I do actually recommend booking a bigger room (I changed to 10 people room and it was fine).

I loved the welcoming atmosphere! All the people that work at the hostel are super nice and inclusive. I participated in one free salsa class and I did 5 private classes at the hostel's own salsa school with Sofia. As a sports teacher myself, I can highly recommend her as a teacher - I went to a salsa club after three classes and I was enjoying it already. :)

Amazing salsa! Had lessons with Vanessa and Camillo and they were both amazing. Such a lovely friendly hostel, wish I could have stayed longer. Nice yoga class too

The soap dispensers need to be refilled more!

Super social hostel for solo travelers. Making friends has never been easier than in this hostel. The facilities are really nice and the staff are unbelievably helpful - they really make an effort to know and appreciate you. I am speciality grateful toward Maria and Camila for being so incredibly kind to me and always being a source of good energy. I spent 7 days in Viajero and would strongly recommend it to anyone traveling Cali :)

Beds uncomfortable and room ridiculously hot

Nice pool. Great staff. Quite lively but I could also relax and location was really nice.

Internet could have been better and the shower (!!), also it’s a shame the pool is cold because otherwise more people would actually go in. All details though, so I’d still recommend

Good vibe, staff was really helpful, dance teachers were also really nice (I recommend Vanessa!), overall a great experience and I’m coming back!
