Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Laundry fees were a bit overpriced. Also, the air conditioner was set on one temperature throughout our stay and at times the room became hot. Despite us calling in a technician, this problem was not resolved.
we stayed here for my birthday and we had a wonderful time! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Also, the location is perfect! close proximity to everything. Breakfast was well balanced and sufficient.

We had a room that was interconnected with another room, the noise of our neighbour could always be heard. Not sure if every room was like this. Perhaps thin walls? Breakfast was ok, but not amazing. Had to pay extra for espresso coffee.
Excellent value for money! Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and clean. Location was great, 10 or so minutes walk to a lot of trendy restaurants and cafes in the north part of the city.

I personally didn’t love the faucet system in the shower but that’s just my preference. I found it complicated and it always tilted to the right. Also, be very careful because the water gets extremely hot very quickly, even in the sink. Be aware if you are with your kids.
Totally exceeded our expectations. The staff was beyond excellent, hotel was clean and very comfortable. Gym is okay for a short stay. Breakfast is really good. Location is excellent. Will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in Bogotá.

Breakfast can definitely improve, empty buffet pots do not get refilled fast even after requesting, self service tea & coffee station can reduce lot of waiting reducing burden on servers.
The Duty Manager at 1:30 AM helped us with so many information, The day tour by Hotel Taxi was very good. Housekeeping is good. Overall Staff is very helpful.

Checkin ok, I had a registered credit card through Booking + they checked it during checkin, I ordered room service the first night and no problem. Ordered again the second night and they wanted me to come down to the lobby because they “didn’t have my credit card 😳. I said they had it and hanged the phone. At 5 am in the morning, my brother who was with me had a transfer to the airport and again! They said they didn’t have a credit card and I had to come down to the lobby to give them my credit card!! So my brother could leave!! The person at the reception was rude and disrespectful.

Communication to the customer was deeply disappointed. There was an F1 happening in the restaurant and weren't informed. We had to take the breakfast in the mezzanine, nothing wrong with that but the breakfast weren't served as normally, it was awful. We informed the reception about a parcel who will be delivered meanwhile we were to the drugstore to get some medicine. In the time we left the parcel company came to deliver and the reception informed the parcel company there was nobody with our name staying there. I had to make more cost to get the parcel company to return to the hotel for the delivery. The worst thing experienced is the reservation I booked with booking.com was $347 my bank account has been charged for $374. It's not my first time staying there but this was my last time.
The breakfast on Friday and Saturday has been terrific.

The room was not ready at check in time of 3 pm. They had to change us to a similar room but with a different view. The restaurant was understaffed. Some times we had to stand up from our table to find a waiter.
