Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was to much noise from the cars passing outside. Other than that great hotel.
I really liked that it was clean and staff was really friendly. Good neighbourhood. Close to a supermarket and a drugstore. Healthy breakfast.

The room wasn't luxurious, but was functional, mostly. The fridge was quite dirty, and also unplugged, I didn't try to see if it worked though. The bathroom light didn't work. Overall it wasn't a thrilling stay, but there wasn't really anything overtly wrong. Don't expect much more than a serviceable bed and bathroom though, and the aesthetics of the place are non-existent.
Reasonable 24 hour security, although there were times when the front desk was briefly unstaffed. Location wasn't the best, but was in a quieter part of Laureles with some nice things nearby, and reasonably quiet and safe, although it was on the border with what I was told was a less safe neighbourhood. Overall it was quite functional, although not inspiring. The room was lockable (with a latch and key) from the outside, which prevented the cleaners coming in, and generally gave me peace of mind.

Lights went off a day because of scheduled maintenance. However they didn't give advice to the guests. When I came downstairs I found the technicians telling the hotel staff that they had signed the form that day morning meaning they were fully aware of the event. Additionally having rented a whole bedroom with two beds inside they refused to deny access to a family member who was with me just because she was not staying during the night. It's a waste since the room actually had the space. Disappointing

You can't pay with card, you have to pay with cash
The people at the hotel were very nice. Not all of them speak English, though, but they are willing to help the best they can

When ask to fix something, took too long to be done.
Walking distance fron Unicentro and Exito and different restaurant, supermarket and farmacy. Staff willing to help whenever they can.

Some room fixtures were broken or missing. There was no night table or a shelf for one side of the double bed. The shower had a flimsy plastic curtain which didn't work well. It took one hour for our breakfast to arrive on our table.
The room was spacious with a clean bathroom. The TV and AC functioned well. There were sufficient outlets for our appliances. The breakfast was okay.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to have a good sleep Hotel Gran Conquistador 33 it’s NOT a good option. It sit right on a major roadway where a lot traffic goes through 24/7. You will hear every motorcycle, car and party buses going through it. This hotel it is not recommended for people that are doing a marathon because the noises will not let you sleep.
The property is clean, it a an elevator and a small parking garage.

Rooms without sound proof, so you can hear streets and avenue like it was in your room. Beds and pillows NO SOFT AT ALL, not even a lamp at rooms, we had to ask for towels and toilet paper, there was none at rooms. Breakfast no satisfactory.

The rooms smell bad like humidity. Every time I enter the room make me sneeze a lot. They gave me only one towel and it was torn. The rooms are nothing like the pictures. The rooms are small and the view is to a wall. There was not coffee maker and no mini refrigerator in the room. The time to collect breakfast was short, from 7:00 to 8:30. The Wi-fi signal was very unstable. I stayed in the hotel for one night and I would not recommend this hotel.
The only thing i like was the location, it was nice area, access to transportation. The staff was nice.
