Very helpful owner. Location close to the city centre but a little bit dodgy. Still felt safe.

Nothing.

Very caring managers / owners who personally accompanied me to grab food in the nearby streets and to the nearby salsa club. They were even willing to wait outside the club at 1am to walk me home if need be as it is only a few minutes walk away.

It is indeed a sketchy area but managers / owners were caring and protective. Location is however only 3 minutes away from the central town and few minutes walk from La Topa, a top salsa club.

The staff's friendliness, they're amazing. The owners are siblings and they're very welcoming. They know a lof about Cali and they're helpful with places to go and visit. They let you use the terrace if you need it, I used it for an instrument class and to rehearse for the salsodromo. The location is right behind the Topa Tolondra and the stairs that take you to San Antonio. It's 15-20 minutes walking distance from the centre. The area is safe if you have common sense, but take transportation at night if you come/go further than San Antonio. Lots of natural light in the room if you have a window. Shower is spacious. Sheets and cleaning of the room can be done after a couple of days if you let the owners know.

There were a couple of ants in the room but if you don't have food inside the room, they won't stay. It can be noisy if there's heavy rain, but it's pretty quiet.

Great location, but they could not find the reservation and turned me away during a very busy conference in the city with almost no other rooms available

Poor reservation system. They could not find my reservation despite me providing confirmation information. It was extremely difficult to find other lodgings on short notice, and nothing g was available in a convenient or safe area. The reservation was non refundable. Very frustrating and I am trying to get a response from both the hostel and Booking.com to no avail. Very poor experience

A very family hostel, the family runs it in a very nice way, very close to every salsa bar and an excellent price for those looking for a good and cheap stay!

Great value for money here. The room was clean and comfortable, and location is right next to San Antonio. The showers are cool but you would be crazy to want a hot shower in Cali. The best part were the staff, super friendly and helpful and they had free cold water available every day which was fantastic for the Cali heat. Would stay here again.

Dangerous neighborhood, especially during night.

The owners are the most accommodating hosts I have met in Colombia. I felt very comfortable and like I could trust them with anything. The outside doesn’t look like much but inside was clean quiet and exactly what I was looking for. You’ll get a private room key, clean private shower, cable tv, quality fan, and a clean comfortable bed. Certainly a gem in the neighborhood.

The street appears a bit dodgy but I had no problems late at night until 3am by myself. Just a couple blocks away is police headquarters station and very lively nightlife area that feels quite safe.

the location is very easy to get to everything an 2 minutes away from the salsa bar. it was in a bit of a dodgy area but it felt very safe with all the locks. the owner is lovely
