From the rooms next to the street you can hear music from gym while it's open.

Great price, really clean and comfortable, extra facilities for a budget price. The staff were really helpful. Kitchen is well equipped. Communal spaces and outdoor area.

The room had no windows to outside, only to the living room. Therefore the smell was a little stale.

Only a small stove, but besides that, the kitchen was super nice! Very well equipped and clean. Bathroom and chill area were also good and location is perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We extended our stay by 2 extra nights. Amazing value for money! Great communication with the host. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was always kept very clean. Amazing location, only a very short walk to the main plaza. There’s also a great gym right across the road.

-Electric shower - no pressure and not hot. -Need to sort out the check in process as there is nobody on site. Messaged the host when we arrived but didn’t get a reply, waited for an hour at the door trying contact them - ended up WhatsApp calling them. The front door only requires a key code so this should be sent in advance of arrival to overcome this issue.

-Excellent value. -Great location. -Quiet, basically had the whole place to ourselves! -Excellent kitchen facilities to prepare meals. -Clean and comfortable.

Great place if you’re traveling with friends, as a couple, or with your family. Beds are really comfortable and the rooms have TV with Netflix. Well equipped kitchen and pleasant to cook in. Two minutes walk to the main square.

Many baby cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom - we killed at least 10.

Ask to change if you get Room no 1 unless you're a deep sleeper as its is at the front, light and noisy- gym opposite opens at 730am playing music and motorbikes go past during the night. Check in was more difficult than it should've been. Kitchen has only 2 gas burner which had trouble lighting, was difficult to cook with others. Only 1 shared bathroom for about 4 rooms, constantly waiting to use it. Cleaner comes in at 8:30am each morning we were there, difficult to get ready and use everything at this prime time of the morning.

Our room (like most rooms) had no window so was quite humid and smelly, even though we didn't use the shower. Also the cooking facilities were really basic. Be careful to ask for the entry code in advance, as there's nobody to welcome you (you pay to the cleaners).

The biggest issue with rooms next to the street. The Noise! I stayed in room 1 for 5 nights and I have 6 more nights booked. I paid $9usd a night which is a good price for Jardin. If it was more I wouldn't have booked so long because of the insane noise. The hostel itself is quieter. But extremely loud from the traffic day and night until like midnight. So it's hard to get more than 5 -6 hours sleep. You don't get to sleep in. The Noise outside comes from a gym across the street day and night , weights slamming together. That's not the worst it's the semi trucks and motorcycles. Yes semi trucks park outside your window to unload. Yes you get exhaust smells. Even with window closed it very loud. It's very loud with window open but it's a very humid warm room with windows shut even when portable fan always running. So usually forced to leave the windows open. Room 2 is very stuffy too and window leads to common room only no privacy. Outside the humidity, heat and extreme Street noise, im pleased with the place. Also theres no reception so be sure u have the code before you go there. No walk ins because owners rarely there. Cleaning ladies will take payment often. Also you will receive from owner an automatic text asking you to send from a bank account 50 percent of logging cost upfront. This is for Colombian people Only. Don't be shyed off from this. I just messaged him and said I'm a foreigner and won't do this as it would cost money to do the transfer. They reply and tell you to pay cash at arrival.

The place is remodeled and modern. Nice Common area Inside and out. Decorated for Christmas. Bathroom is decent size. No issues with anything in the kitchen or bathroom. Has refrigerator. Like the fact it's just private rooms and not dorm rooms so there is less people there. Not everyone wants 20 plus people at a place they stay. There's 6 private rooms. 3 have there own bathrooms I believe. 3 share a bathroom so it's not bad. Yes overall it's clean. They do a good job cleaning.
