Traffic noise in the centre of Bogota is i inevitable and our stay here was no exception, but a pair of ear plugs solves all. Breakfast starts late (9am), not great if you have little time and much to see

Beautiful colonial building tastefully furnished. Lovely staff. We made friends and it was like we'd known them for years. Cool area, great terrace with views of Bogota and mountains beyond. Very tasty breakfast and excellent value for money.

the hostel was as described and the hostel areas were really beautiful as well as the rooftop, the breakfast was delicious & the stuff was really helpful

The personal was overstrained with us arriving, since they had No booking available for Our Name and No Access to the booking Portal. Would be an improvement to also let the staff be informed about their bookings. Same Situation continued at breakfast, they told us the breakfast Times, we planned accordingly and ended Up waiting 15 min for them to appear to start the preparation of the meal. It took all quite Long, which is a Bit disappointing since you expect them to know how to run the morning Routine If they include breakfast in their booking. A Bit more efficiency would be great so the Overall experience is great and does Not reduce that much when dealing with the people.

The Location is great Close to all sights that you want to see. The Hostel itself was really nice ans stylish. The Service Like Baggage storage is great and a Big Advantage.

it is more of a restaurant and the provision of accommodation seems to be a secondary activity. there is no understandable reception, business is done from behind the bar counter. when I came, it was not known for a long time who would receive me. breakfast was included in the price, but I didn't get it the first morning, because at 8 o'clock there was no one to offer it. beer was offered as compensation in the evening. the next morning I got breakfast, but an hour later than I had asked for. the breakfast was rather modest and could have been better from the street. in the room where I was placed, the restaurant's employees were still sleeping, and they were moved if necessary. that meant their belongings were there, which made the room look a bit messy. the bed also has no curtains to create some privacy.

Some would find the space small,but we had chosen a budget hotel for our first stay and would return another time but opt for a larger room with a private bathroom.

They were very accommodating of our late night flight. The staff had a good attitude even though we arrived in the middle of the night. And the plus was they had a friendly cat. The space was kept in clean condition.

If you want at least the warm water, you have to run the lowest stream of water to get it heated through the electrical heater. I found it out after one day. It’s quite a big discomfort to not have normal warm water in Bogota when the temperature in August drops to 8 celsius at night :)

Our room had no window and the hostel had an overall dingy vibe. There was no hot water throughout the entirety of our stay, which in Bogotá feels like a necessity meaning we went two days without showering properly.

It was in a very good location and one of the members of staff woke up at 4 am to let us in from our flight which was amazing. The rooftop bar was also lovely.

We had to check-in online before arriving at the hostel, using an external website/software, and the form required us to submit photos of our passports (as a form of ID), and I wasn’t completely comfortable about it as I wasn’t sure how secure the platform was. Would much prefer to check-in the normal way, face-to-face, and hand over my passport over the counter

Great location - walkable to many attractions but tucked away from street noise. 24 hours reception, which was good as we had a late night check-in. Helpful staff. We got a room with shared bathrooms and the bathrooms were very clean, so I’d say it’s great value for money.

TV running till quite late. It was a soccer match though so some people liked it. Key needed to exit the main door - could be a safety issue.

Lovely decor. Helpful staff. Near the older part of the city. Lots of nearby bars and cafes.

Maybe the shared bathroom could be a bit more looked after. And the small kitchen could be more equipped.

We stayed here mid January and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the chef who was great! The place is nothing fancy but a good place to stay and we recommend it.

You get what you pay. As I had long tranfer in Bogota I used only for few hours room so I can't tell much about hostel.

The noise level was at the usual latin level. It is a busy area. We were advised not to be out alone at night.

Very close walking to the many main attractions and tours available. The manager is a gracious host and finds the time to help.

There is almost never soap in the bathroom. They give you small tabs of personal soap but it's annoying to bring it with you any time you want to use the bathroom. The kitchen has no bowls, no cutlery at all, and basically no cooking equipment. The fridge is barely cool enough (I was worried about the milk we put in, that's how not-cold it was). This makes the kitchen basically pointless. They added dish soap once we requested it and pointed it out. Breakfast is only served 8:30-9:30 and really is not great in terms of variety and nutrition - if you put the two very buttery eggs between the white bread slices like a sandwich it tasted quite good (pro tip). But it's definitely not ideal.

Location is unbeatable, beds were comfy, rooftop terrace is cool (try the coin throwing game just hanging out against the wall). The woman at reception is very sweet and willing to help - had some really nice friendly chats. :) The price is honestly unbeatable for location. We extended from 2 nights to 5. :)

The information about the parking, it said ther was parking and it took me 30 minutes to park.

We haven't gotten any issues coming back late at night, but perhaps they should have a key pad system so guests can come and go at any time without disrupting the hosts. We also used the kitchen a few times and it would be nice to have more utensils.

The hosts were very welcoming and the facilities were good. We had a comfy room and a good shower. Also the rooftop was a plus. The location was great, close to the historical centre and right in the middle of Candelaria!
