Our room was the the first one (by the street). It was a bit dark, damp and noisy. Ok for sleeping a night but not for several nights. The other rooms, with windows facing patio, might have been better but weren’t available for me and my mom (w/private bath).

The common area was lovely. The couple that run the hostal were very knowledgeable of the area. They helped us organize the best local tours. Breakfast was wonderful though some fruit and/or juice would have been nice.

Amazing owners! The the owners are a couple who also lives in the building. They were extremely helpful and kind, and made our stay in Jardin perfect. When we arrived, they asked us what we wanted to do in Jardin and called people they knew to fix transportation etc for us. We ended up with a very cheap private tour for the waterfalls and coffee finca. This hostel is worth so much more than the price! It seems like the owners run this hostel because they love it and not to earn anything. Breakfast was also delicious!

Lovely hostel in Jardin, very central and close to everything, the place was nice and clean and the couple who ran it were amazing, always extremely friendly and helpful giving us some great recommendations. Would highly recommend staying here!

I liked everything. Thankful to have spent 3 days there.

It was in a perfect location. The owners were super helpful and did everything to make sure you are being taken care of. The breakfast was great too. The art, plants and cat made it extra cozy. Hot water was available to shower. Drinkable water.

We had a wonderful stay at the hostel La Comedia. The place is very nice, right in the center and the hosts are very kind and helpful.

Personally, I would not book the single room again. It has no window or ventilation and therefore, nothing dries and the room feels like a sauna (no fan or AC either). On top of this, there are dusty things stored on top of your bed (in a loft) and my eyes literally bugged out of my head every night I slept in the room. I could not use the pillows, as I am pretty sure they are decades old. With a little attention to the single room, it might be more bearable. Otherwise, it is sufficient for a quick night stopover, just not 4. I would absolutely recommend the hostel. Just not the single room.

This is such a sweet little find. The couple that own this hostel are very hard working, patient and kind. The location is amazing. Jardin was my absolute favorite place in all of Colombia. The breakfast is good and appreciated. They were incredibly helpful to get my laundry done (my entire pack) for a very reasonable rate. The in-house cat is adorable. All in all, there is so much to see and do in this area and La Comedia is the perfect place to set off on each and every adventure.

Francisco and Gloria were lovely and helpful, it was very homely and we loved the courtyard with lovely plants where you have breakfast. Breakfast was really nice and they were accommodating when I told them I don’t eat eggs and my partner’s broken Spanish. Location is perfect, very central but not on the main square. Great value for money.

Gloria was amazing. She greeted us at the entrance. Check in was super smooth. No issues whatsoever. The breakfast was simple yet delicious. The breakfast consisted of hot chocolate or coffee. Eggs with tomatoes, onions or just plain eggs. This was accompanied with a slice of cheese and bread. Loved the hospitality.
