The walls between the rooms were too thin and you could hear the TV or people talking loudly. I also didn’t like the mosquitos. They should have mosquito nets for rooms.

I liked the location, but the hotel put me between a family (parents in a room on one side), kids (in a room on the other side). They were very noisy, so it was not good for 2 nights. The swimming pool was great after a long day of hiking. The staff were the best. They were kind and willing to give advice and change my reservation.

Everything! Big beautiful house very well decorated. Walking distance to main attractions in the city. Owners are adorable and they interact directly with everyone. Best option to stay in Barichara

Beautiful yet rustic hotel in the centre of Barichara, 2 blocks away from the mirador for sunsets. The grounds are full of plants flowers and birds. The staff is especially Nice and breakfast excellent. Highly recommend if you are not looking for modernity. Yet totally functional

What a beautiful property. Everything was amazing. The hotel is just perfect. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was warm and friendly, and always ready to help with whatever i needed. The location was great, just two blocks away from the main square. Breakfast was the same as most Colombian places, but very well prepared. Wifi worked great all the time. The property has a very stately and historic feel to it. The pool was great for cooling down after hiking the camino real. I met the owner as i was leaving and he took the time to say hello, chat for a while and give me some history of the hotel.

Everything is wonderful. Easy walk from the centre and buses. Great walks and birdwatching nearby. Bars and restaurants near. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. The building is colonial and beautiful with rooms cleaned every day and hot showers. Love it and booked extra nights

It was extortionately overpriced in comparison with many other properties in Barichara at that time of the year. The bathrooms are very dated and non functional and lack basic items that you’d expect in a hotel of this level. We’ve to ask to get the toilet paper replaced as there is nowhere to store spare ones. The shower didn’t work properly, the fan was very noisy and impossible to adjust. Bed were also uncomfortable. Please note this is not a criticism to the admin team or staff but to whoever runs the place. Also, the breakfast was ok, very rationed and limited once again in comparison with other properties in town.

A very good location, a beautiful house with a lot of character and history. The staff, administrators were lovely.
