Great decor, comfortable and warm bed, extremely clean, very secure.

Not much of a social vibe or information for travellers, no kitchen.

The room and toilet were clean. The location is great. The common areas are interesting and beautiful but not feeling welcome to use them . It looks more like a museum than a shared space. We definitely wouldn't stay here again, not for so long.

We asked what is happening with the shared toilet if we need a key for it because it looked busy at all times and the owner said no.After 1 hour of waiting asked again and he came to say where is the key for it and unlocking it . I do not really understand why you would lock a shared toilet ? There is no need for TV , but please buy some hangers, are cheap, and make a difference to your guests, without leaving all the clothes on the floor.

This was a clean place, well located in a good location with a comfortable bed. Lots of good decor to look at.

The staff were very cold and relatively unfriendly, think of a 70's horror film when you a welcomed with a cold errie feeling of negativitity.. This is not the place for people who like to watch the TV; you can hear a pin drop. If you want the quietists place you can find where everything is shush, hush hush then this is for you.

    Nice decorations.

Where to start. Let's just begin with what matters the most: the room and and bathroom. The room we were given had only two very small windows that opened onto a closed indoor courtyard. In other words, no ventilation is possible and it stays hot and humid in your room 24/7. The beds are covered in plastic and make loud a loud creaky noise with even the smallest of movement (don't even think about getting a good night's sleep here if some other people need to go the bathroom at night). The bathroom was dirty at times and the showers are cold (the host told us it would be one morning but it ended up being the entire 3 days we stayed). The hosts themselves are unfriendly. We had a little kerfuffle one night when we arrived at the hostel while some other guests were just walking in. Thinking we could walk in behind them we were rather surprised to be called criminals by them as they threw the door shut in our face. Some bad words were exchanged and we were ready to just get it over with. However, the Karen boomers decided to talk to the manager and the next morning she came to us on high heels proclaiming we should respect the other guests without even trying to ask us what happened. Note to the hosts: just because some people have managed to live to 60 does not give them to right to treat everyone like trash while demanding respect in turn. The fact that you do not even consider to ask us what happened makes you terrible and disrespectful hosts. This was just the final straw of a consistently terrible hotel experience.

I liked the location and it was clean

The two old ladies that run the place are very rude, ignored us and wouldn't let us use the bathroom on the last day when we were checking out. There was never any toilet roll in the bathroom, they advertise hot water but the water was freezing for showers and the bed had plastic sheeting on it so it was very uncomfortable to sleep. We didn't have water for two days so we had to go without showers. There is a laundry service but the lady shrinks all your clothes so don't do it. It's actually a shame as the place is a good location and could be great but the welcome we had was not nice and wouldn't recommend it to people.

There's not really a common area where you can chill and meet other people

the position and it's quite comfortable

The host is not kind. On booking there is written you can pay by card but the host doesn't allow it. If you tell her that is written on booking she doesn't care; she answers you ''I don't care, you can go to the Hilton or the Palace where you can pay by card''
