Be aware, Irotama lago is a one tower hotel, but it shares all the facilities: pools, restaurants and beach with 4 hotels of the same brand. This makes the place very busy.

Limited food at the buffet at night time but we have always other restaurants to choose from so we were ok. English language was a bit of barrier for all the staff members so it was very hard to join the daily activities.

Everything was nearly 100%, the staff members from reception, cleaners bar members and entertainment were very friendly, the food was limited but nice, really nice private location, rooms were super clean and spacious. Amazing views.

More variety of food in restaurants

The breakfast was nice, the fun spaces are quite nice. We really enjoyed the time in Irotama. The only uncomfortable condition was the presence of mosquitoes which avoid as to stay in some areas of the hotel.

Mattress was a little hard.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. ANGELY at the front desk was EXCEPTIONAL! She acted as my interpreter and assisted me in communicating with other staff members. I stayed for a total of 9 nights this time. This is the third time that I have visited Irotama Resort. Very nice facilities, safe, clean, and friendly hotel staff members. Great experience.

The Irotama Lago hotel is perfect for families with kids (main pool with slide, kids club but must be accompanied by parent) and provides access to all their properties within the same vicinity. Beach in front of the hotel is not private but the hotel has plenty of security around. Quality of the breakfast & options are ample and include a lot of local Caribeño plus continental food options. There are 13 restaurants, we tried two for a la carte dinners and they were just ok. There’s a small shopping nearby Zazue with a variety of shops like a Carulla, casual dining, beach wear, etc. Overall a great stay.

Breakfast was ok. Buffet dinner looked poor. Italian was ok. Overall this is a great hotel for a short break. Pools are good. More 4* than 5* I'd say

It's not a 10 because we ordered robalo, and the fish was bad, but the breakfast was delicious. The arepa was really, really good, and so were the caramañolas with cheese.

We had a great time with the kids; it's very family-friendly. The pool is spectacular, with the perfect water temperature, and the slide is amazing. My two-year-old was thrilled to play there over and over again. Although the kids' pool is small, it’s ideal for his age. The beach has loungers to relax on and shaded areas with chairs. Plus, the security was watching our belongings while we were in the sea.

The service at the restaurants can be slow at times. The size of the bungalows varies and this should be made clear when making the booking . The accommodation in the larger bungalows and bohios doesn't seem to be offered through booking.com - it would be great if in future this type of accommodation at the resort is also offered when choosing the room online.
