Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

All good. They gave us a family room instead of the 2 separate rooms we had booked which made it easier for us to pack. We left early to the airport and they fixed some breakfast before official time. Also, The restaurant next door is excellent!

this hotel was very comfortable, we enjoyed the family room and the rooms and bathroom very large and luxurious, the bed was enormous, all was very clean and the personnel super nice and attentive.

The gentleman at the front desk was exceptional. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the setting was lovely!

You need to call the hotel once you arrive and are ready to get picked up after clearing customs and receiving your luggage. They won't be waiting for you based on the flight's arrival time, because it's a busy airport. This means you need to have a way to call them or you have to connect to the wifi to message them on WhatsApp - which is not an issue, but just be aware.
Excellent experience at this hotel. My mother traveled by herself and she needed to spend one night in Medellin - they took excellent care of her. They picked her up from the airport and dropped her off the next day too. They were in constant communication with me to let me know she was about to get picked up and she checked in to the hotel. The facilities were clean, lots of landscape that made it really pretty and there was a good restaurant nearby and they also had currency exchange service. Excellent location to spend the night if you need to stay near the airport.

The room walls are VERY thin. I could hear the couple speaking in the room beside me. They were not talking loud but I could hear every word. I also could hear someone snoring. I was lucky they weren’t loud people otherwise it could have been a night with no sleep.
The staff at this hotel were amazing especially the lady working in the restaurant. She was incredible! The gardens are lovely and the shuttle was quick to come get me. Was wonderful being so close to the airport.

It was a bit disappointing breakfast is at 7am earliest. By that time i was already at the airport. The wifi was unreliable.

Basically I was there because they have a free shuttle and it is near the main airport. I had a very early flight and if I stay in the city it is much harder to get uber or taxi. However this place is nice and the staff is wonderful. They also have a golf course. I think it is a par 3. If you check in early and play golf you can entertain yourself. It’s not a course. It is more like range practice.

Wifi was very low; don't count on having any wifi in your room.

Super convenient location five minutes from the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even thought the location is close to the airport it's fairly quiet and we weren't bothered by any noise. Good complimentary breakfast. Extra shoutout to the gentleman at the front desk, he was very helpful and friendly with our late check-in, thank you!

Big comfortable bed, clean pre-fab room, helpful front desk, free shuttle to and from the airport a few minutes away. Great restaurant across the street for carnes, El Rancherito - Rionegro. Our flight from San Andres was delayed and we missed our connection so had to stay the night in Medellin. Perfect option for a quick overnight before an early morning flight.

They should consider a softer mattress; but i encountered the same issue at all the places i stayed in Colombia. I guess hard mattresses are a thing there.
Transportation from and to the airport very convenient. The staff was very helpful. Just a few mins drive to the airport.
