Location is breathtaking. Team is very kind, welcoming and hardworking. The snorkeling excursions to nearby corals are beautiful.

The property needs serious refurbishment. It is very run down, with installations (both in the rooms and common spaces) in a derelict state. There are no parasols to shield from the strong sun. Several sun beds are in a poor state, and the room didn’t feel clean and had lots of broken features. It is a pity, because the place has huge potential. But currently it is not good value for money.

The location is stunning!!!!! You won’t want to leave the water! Happy I brought my snorkel mask the fish were stunning!! The host Alex made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely kind!! The views were insane!! Great breakfast! Definitely lots of heat you won’t wanna take warm clothes and will live in shorts!

No AC! So buckle down for hot weather! Don’t stress too much though you got the ocean breeze and fans!!

Charming hotel on a small island. Calm and friendly environment, perfect for children, at least aged 10+ like ours. Spacious cabañas with private access to the ocean. Very friendly and collaborative staff. Great breakfast. We will be back!

The breakfast was really good, but some of the main dishes could be improved.

    Location and staff.

Food was a big no go, high prices for not good food and no quality. The included breakfast is too small for Europeans and was bad. Some day they did not have their cheap toast bread, some day they did not have their jam, some day you had to remind them you would like to have a bit butter on there. As a small portion with egg, toast and few pieces of fruits will keep you hungry, we ordered for extra money some expensive pancakes that were also more tasty and still were a bit hungry despite us being of normal weight, not overweight. Why are not more fruits and the pancakes at least not included in the breakfast?!? Why you don't have much variety and not even a single avocado dish when every day boats will pass the island? For the hotel poces you can even charter easily a boat to get some proper food from the countryside. The smoothies were watery and without taste. Don't waste your money on this and if you do, remind them to not put sugar in there. In a coke can be less sugar than in such a "smoothie". Also for lunch and dinner there are crazy prices for poor quality where you can still wait a long time when you once make the mistake to not prereserve specific food for a specific time. Also here no consistency. For example their fried patacones were coming sometimes with white sauce, sometimes without, sometimes more pieces, sometimes less pieces. When you are vegetarian or meat eater, better not come due to very limited options for ridiculous prices. Fortunately staff helped us privately to survive to get some avocados as tasty snack. Also we got from them some water to not get bankrupt when staying for a few days with only having available small water bottles to buy from the restaurant. Water should never be limited like this. Water is a basic human right that should not be sold like this to enrich the hotel owners. For everyone international I recommend to ask for the beach towels that are nowhere to be seen.

Perfect place to be away from crowded and enjoying the calmness and nature.

The return boat came late and it was very stressful to arrive at the airport.

Beautiful location. You can snorkel and swim off the hotel. The staff very friendly. Beautiful surrounding.

The food was uneven for our two night stay. The food and drinks were also very expensive for what was provided.

The restaurant staff is nice and friendly.

The buildings are in very poor condition. The accommodation feels like sleeping in an animal shelter.

It is a beautiful island and Isac took good care of us and the food was very good. I recommend people to not take the “tours” and stay in the island.

There is no place to hide from the heat and mosquitoes. We were in cabaña 3 and when it stormed the water came in, apparently that is normal. We had a really bad experience when going to playa Blanca and cholon island tour, it’s a tourist trap. In playa Blanca vendors won’t leave you alone, we had a line of them waiting for their turn and in cholon they will give you something you don’t order, give you a different menu when paying and charge you lots of money.

The way that the staff was pressing us to spend money in food was really awful. The waiter refused us to get a pizza and a club sandwich saying that this option was quite cheap. Hunting us all the time when relaxing by the sea with the menu to order stuff or cocktails.

The island has access to swimming places with crystal clear water. It is nice to swim there. Nothing else was nice. I invite you to read what I didn't like for a full understanding.

This place is TERRIBLE value for money. The staff made us aware at our arrival that we were the only two guests besides a couple. Then the horror story started. First, they charged us 12% more as taxes. I don't expect a bump in price if I book through booking.com. As we started exploring the island, we realised there is not much to see. All of the amenities of the island are in ruins. The beds that you see were you can chill in the sun have dirty stained "mattresses" that have clearly never been washed. The kayaks are broken and you see a lot of debris around. Then the "Gastronomic Experience" they offer in their website is non existent. The food that we requested was either "not available" as they either lack fish (how can they lack fresh fish in an island?) or they "forgot to make it". So there were no desserts available. The only thing we had access to was frozen fish (at a very high price) that you can buy in the supermarket. The room they gave us was dark, dirty, had electricity cables poking out of the wall and a bathroom with open roof (not disclosed), but this was not the worst of it. As we try to sleep we started feeling itchy. As we turned on the lights we discovered that there were comejen (termites) on the roof and their larva and eggs were falling in our head. When I complained to the staff, they were unhelpful, so I had to call the manager to get a solution. He apologised and said that all islands in the region struggle with it (which is not true, as I have had great stays at other islands). He then told me we were going to be moved from the Junior Suite to a Suite. We were moved to the "suite" were the bedding smelled bad, it was full of cockroaches, the toiler paper and soap were used and there was hair in the sink. I called the manager again and he told me that he did the cleaning himself for 5 min. So he would actually call some staff to clean the third room they offered to us.

The environment is really nice, not a lot of rooms in the island, we felt quite alone, it was really restful

Maybe need a bit of cleanup on the back of the island, especially as it is the spot to watch the sunset

Amazing location, the sea is beautiful and calm Great place if you want to relax and stay away from big crowds Incredible staff, friendly and nice, they genuinely want you to spend some nice time Suggestions: make sure your suite has an ocean view (ours had one and we loved reading in front of the ocean), try the cazuela and pasta frutti di mare

Facilities are not top notch, there are some constructions/repairs going on and at some times of the day there is no water. We were ok with these things, as the pros overcame them
