The drive upto Kavas and the cabins is very challenging, but totally worth it. We fo recommend a 4x4 which we did not have.

The view, the room, the staff, the surrounding area, the birds!!! It was an awesome experience, it was paradise!

The best part about the stay was the staff. They were all super attentive and made us feel welcomed before we arrived. The cabins and all amenities were as advertised. Nothing compares to waking up with nature surrounding you and stunning views.

Kavas was a great place to stay with my partner. Close to town but far from the noise and into the nature. Facilities were great with lots of birds and plants. Would definitely recommend. Food in particular was amazing each time and plentiful.

Amazing cabanas in the cloud forest. Breakfast facing such a nature is great. I recommend for those who are nature lovers. Peace and quietness awaits for you.

Nothing really. It’s a bit far from Salento so it’s something to consider, but for us it wasn’t a problem.

We loved this place. Beautiful cabins on the mountain, surrounded by nature and cows, with an amazing view and fresh air. Attention was amazing, food was delicious. We felt very welcomed and whenever we needed something, they would help us arranging or giving us advice. I would go back for sure.

The location and views are breathtaking and the cabins are extremely comfortable with everything you need. We particularly loved the outdoor shower and jacuzzi bath! Staff were really friendly and helpful and helped us to arrange transport and book activities in the area. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was delicious.

Not really a negative, but there is a very steep walk from reception to the cabins.

Amazing experience in the mountains of Salento, surrounded by trees and above the clouds. The cabin was cute, the outdoor jacuzzi bath was bliss and we loved chilling on the net hammock too. We were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food in the restaurant was - the chef was brilliant! The member of staff at reception was also very helpful and attentive so I can’t recommend this stay enough!

The property is 5km up a rough dirt road, outside of Salento. Not easily accessible via Uber or hired car. You need to be very insistent with the on-site staff about helping you arrange rides to and from Salento using the Willie jeeps.

Beautiful and unique property - a destination itself! Great food at the restaurant, which you can have via room service. Lots of bird life and beautiful sunsets.

It was not easy (impossible) to dry your clothes or towels, but we were the only guests so the fire in the main building wasn't on and it was a very wet period.

The cabins are basic and that's what you should be looking for here upon the mountain in the middle of nowhere, still close enough to town. You connect to the surroundings and live with the elements. The view is incredible, the open air bathroom and jacuzzi + terrace make you forget about the hectic life. You cuddle together under the sheets with a small fire to keep you warm enough. There's room service and the staff is just super helpful and kind.

Absolutely amazing accomodation amongst the hills and wildlife. The view was so beautiful for sunrise and sunset and the jacuzzi made it so special. Staff were so lovely and delivered our delicious meals to our door.

Not bad points, but things to be aware of: - There is a lot of stairs/hike from the reception to the rooms. Staff helped us with the luggage, we were just not mentally prepared for the ~7-10min hike uphill to get to the rooms, so it’s good to know upfront. - There is no wifi connection in the room, which wasn’t a problem because connection worked there.

Staff were very nice and accommodating! It’s located in a very remote area (accessible only with SUV), which adds a lot to the charm of the place. The views are incredible, and the whole experience is very nice. Our cabin had no blinds, which for us was a plus because we woke up naturally with sunrise! Great place to rest and really disconnect.

The hotel doesn' mentioned that the gest needs to carry the luggage 500 meters up the hill we came at night there was no light. Check-in was very complicated and tacked a long time . It's doesn't worth the money management and service was very bad

Great for Instagram, but getting there requires a bit of effort. You’ll need a taxi for a 40-minute ride on a forest road, and then hope you’re not carrying luggage, as the accommodation is really high up on a hill. The breakfast was disappointing, with uncooked eggs. However, the staff were really nice and helpful.

Firstly, the lodge is located a 15 minute walk from the reception which was not made clear. More importantly, we had no hot water or electricity, both issues were logged and was told someone will come to fix this as a priority but no one bothered to fix anything. Host is friendly when checking in but that doesn't really mean anything when basic necessities are not available nor do they bother to rectify. Bath outside is stated as a 'Jacuzzi' but it was simply a bath as the bubble function was not working. was really looking forward to this stay but ended up very disappointed.

We arrived in the evening to the hotel with our 2 yo daughter. First of all, It’s already a ride to get there with our car after all day traveling. When we got there, to reach the cabin, be ready for a 10min uphill walk. My husband took on his shoulder a 23kg bag. No help offered. The room is very basic, no plugs on bedside, open air toilets and shower and heating is an alcohol flame which when it turns off leaves a proper smoke in the room. Surely it would be different without a child. We are experienced travelers but overall it is overpriced. Nice Views should not be so expensive. Because the rest of the region is very affordable.

The views are spectacular. The breakfast made by Cesar is great and he’s a charming person so is Camilo, they are very helpful and serviceable. They perfectly understood the industry they’re working for.
