Wonderful stay in Salento. Great location and comfortable rooms. We want to especially mention Erika who took great care of us by welcoming us and making delicious breakfast every morning. And she even made sure we could use their water tank for showering (much needed after the Cocora valley) when there was no water available in the village. Thank you for the lovely time!

Staying at La Caracola made our time in Salento extra special. Erika was very nice and helpful throughout our time there. She had great patience for our not great understanding and speaking of Spanish. The room was an ok size and the bed quite large and comfortable. Everything was very clean and breakfast was great as well.

Nicely located at the entrance of Salento, this small bed and breakfast is a great place to stay. We were nicely welcome and provide a lot of information and recommendations about Salento and different activities. It really help us to plan our stay! Our room was cosy and we loved the support and care for the team.

Noisy (you need earplugs), rooms are a bit small.

Great location, Jerome was very friendly and helpfull (eg. arranged a cab back to Pereira when busses where not driving yet, tips for tours and cocora), good breakfast.

Room was facing the road so very loud when bikes or anything else went by. Neighbours were playing loud music at 1-2am our first night, but it was OK the next few nights. Shower was a bit fussy - randomly going cold and scalding hot at times.

Great location just on the edge of town - 5 min walk from everything. Staff were friendly and helpful - host was very responsive to all messages. Comfy and spacious room. Lots of information about things to do, restaurants, etc. and they offered to help book any tours for us.

This is not a hotel, more like an airbnb with no permanent staff, you hear every sound from the street, a good thing is that the place is at the outskirts of the town

Decent rooms, but it is not a 4 star hotel. Host was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was also ok.

The beds are not super comfortable and for our taste the rules regarding breakfast times were a bit too strict and we didnt feel very comfortable using the kitchen (even though on booking its listed as amenities).

Cute house about 10min from the main square and very close to the bus terminal. The breakfast was also really good!

The room was in good state, clean and nicely decorated. I appreciated the personal contact both before and during my stay to make sure I was doing well. Christina and Paula took great care of me. Good breakfast and a quiet street but still close enough to the city center. Perfect if you want the buzz of town but prefer to stay somewhere more calm.

Location within easy walking distance of plaza. Excellent breakfast. Big, clean rooms. We were lucky enough to get "upgraded" to the upper floor with easy access to tea and coffee making facilities. Tours can be arranged by the owners. Don't miss the 4WD trip to Carbonera Valley with thousands of wax palm trees. Morning

This place is awesome! Super friendly staff, if you're into yoga, be sure to inquire with the owner- great practice! The shower was my favorite part after the hard but beautiful hikes and the breakfast is DELISH on the patio. :) Thank you!

Great location with an easy walk down to the centre and main shopping /restaurant street. Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, cereal, toast ,coffee/tea.

Charming house in a quiet street within walking distance to the center, you can find some lovely coffee farms (e.g. Momota, don eduardo) just at the end of the road. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The rooms have just been renovated so everthing was perfect, shiny and new :) the breakfast was also very good… I can highly recommend this place!

The street is quiet, but if your room is downstairs on the street front, you can hear every passerby talking clearly out the open window. It can be muggy so the fresh air of the open window is needed. We are light sleepers, so it woke us up if a truck or motorcycle went by.

Minor points but pillows very flat. Could have done with one more or plumper pilllows. Light in the room was very dim, 2 of the ceiling lights weren’t working

Located on the edge of town in a quiet location but short walk to the centre. Big bed, nice room, only place we’ve been in Colombia where we’ve had hot water in the wash basin. Good breakfast with yoghurt - and brown bread! Simon was very friendly and helpful.
