The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast with fresh fruit and juice every morning! Good for families with kids, little swimming pool was a blessing for the kids:-)

We really liked La Loma Hotel. Our room was clean and quiet. Our room had a great window and balcony with an awesome view of the countryside. This view is a lot like the one in the pool pictures.The staff was super friendly and happy to help. The owner is very friendly and very attentive. .

The cleanliness of the rooms can be slightly improved. Some other minor things like for instance soap dispenser in the shower have seen better days. It feels a bit like the place can use a little maintenance and energy. But still it is a great place to stay!

A really cosy hotel with cute room sin traditional style with amazing view and location. Really calm peaceful place to stay outside the center of the town (though still walkable). We stayed here two times already and really enjoyed it.

There was construction going on so not as peaceful as one could have wished. Hotel is located on the outskirts of town on top of a hill. We didn’t mind, but some might find the walk from town a bit too much.

NIce ambience. Beautiful Jew of the mountains. Comfortable bed. Hot water. The pool. The staff filled our water bottles with filtered water on request and gave us an opportunity to chose something else than egg for breakfast one day.

There was nothing we didn’t like! The breakfast was quite typical of each hotel we’ve stayed at which is quite basic. What was extra special was that the owners are on property and take amazing care of their guests. We really enjoyed getting to know them!

It was beautiful and private…. No noise. We had a top floor with a large shuttered window, which opened to the most magnificent view. At night, we slept with the shutters open and felt a soft, beautiful warm breeze all night long. The room was large and the decor was lovely. It was close enough to town, but not enough so that you heard the noise of a touristic town. The village was only 15 minutes away. And if you wanted to come back and didn’t want to do the walk, they were tuks tuks which was the form of taxis that Barichara has which were actually quite fun!

The only issue I would point out is that the wifi was not working well in the room. And this was the one and only place during our entire Colombia trip where our credit card did not work.

Loved the layout of the hotel - great view, very peaceful, and the staff was friendly. The location was at the edge of the village, and while that meant a bit of walk, it was not really a problem. I really enjoyed the pool as well.

This is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had incredible views of the town and countryside from our room and the breakfast area. Highly recommend to anyone looking to disconnect from work and enjoy the culture and beauty of this area. Also, the hotel staff gave amazing recommendations for places to hike, things to do and eat!
