Calm, clean and comfortable hostel in a quiet area but still close to town. Nice view to the lake. Ample rooms, lockers and private bunk beds with curtains. They even offer free coffee in the morning.

A lovely hostel in central Guatape. As a family of 4 we had 2 x double rooms with lake views and en suites which were clean and comfortable. The small kitchen was fine for making hot drinks and breakfast etc. Unfortunately the Thai restaurant was closed but lots of places to eat nearby. We hired double kayaks one day from the hostel which was fun and enjoyed relaxing in the communal area on the top floor which had nice views. The hostel staff were amazing on the day we left when, due to heavy rains there were numerous landslides and road closures, meaning we were unable to get to the airport by car as planned. They went out of their way to find out the situation and arranged a speed boat to take us across the lake to a waiting car who got us to the airport in time (very James Bond) - so helpful and highlights how amazing hostels can be for helping out when things don’t go to plan. Would recommend to travellers of all ages including families.

Good beds with curtains and large shelf to put your stuff. Beautiful terrace and common spaces, lots of bathrooms that were always clean. Kitchen is well equipped enough to cook. Location is great, 3 minutes walk to the touristy center of Guatapé.

I loved this hostel and would definitely go back. I booked a private double room for a great price and it felt like such a luxury! The room was so clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with a great shower. The location was perfect, a 2/3 minute walk to the main street. The man at reception was extremely helpful. I would recommend this hostel very highly!

We loved the value for money. We had a private room, which was comfortable, clean, and featured a nice view and a balcony. We liked that the hosts were friendly and helpful. We had a calm, quiet night, although the hostel was empty, so we're not sure if this applies to times when it hosts more guests. The location is also great, far from noise and traffic, but close to the town and the mountain if you're into hiking.

This is a very comfortable place, with good equipment in the kitchen, comfortable beds and large lockable lockers, even in the dorms. The location is quiet, but still within walking distance of the center. Great place!

The place is great. It's very clean, you have a lot of space, and it feels cozy. It's also very silent, and the sofa in the common area is very comfortable. There is a kitchen and drinkable water. There are also a lot of activities you can do, and you can rent a kayak and other things in the hostel. You can pay by card. I really enjoyed it.

Loved the location, it's on the edge of town so it's quieter than the center of town and a very short walk. The room we had was more than we actually needed, we booked the family room on the first floor with a double bed and bunkbeds. The staff is supurb. We were a little disappointed that the kitchen is not currently serving meals but there is a fully equipped kitchen for the use of all guests and a large area with tables and couches to hang out in. Very clean and comfortable rooms and beds. We plan to extend our stay in Colombia and booked another room for 5 days after a side trip to San Rafael which I highly recommend.

A previous review mentions that an individual light and electric socket in the dorms would be better, but the hostel is such good value that I don't see this as an issue. There are enough sockets in the dorms.

Stayed here for 3 nights over New Year. It is located a short distance from the centre and although close to everything it was very quiet and totally safe. The hostel is very clean, well maintained with an adequate kitchen and good WiFi. Nice eating area and communal zone with a balcony. Curtains around the beds in the dorms provides good privacy. I made a mistake in my booking and they allowed me to change my dates with less than 24 hours notice. Much appreciated. Diego was very helpful and speaks excellent English. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Tip: Take the bus to "La Piedra", 80% cheaper than a tuktuk.

The facilities were absolutely amazing! It’s a stunning place to stay, bursting with vibrant art and colors that instantly uplift your spirits. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness – everything sparkled and had such a wonderful fragrance! My room was a true sanctuary, and the shower? It was the best I’ve ever experienced! I wholeheartedly recommend this place for your stay. Plus, it’s conveniently located near Guatapé Motos for motorcycle rentals and just a stone’s throw from the malecón, perfect for a scenic stroll.

I have been around the world… Host was a retired hostel traveler that speaks English well, friendly staff, roof top hammocks /big screen, and best of all free horse back riding during a major horse fiesta. Was 16$ where value was realistically in the hundreds… This is the next hostel with a permanent place on the map.

We were disappointed that there was no lake view from our “Lake view room” or the hotel due to the lake level. Also were only told on arrival that the restaurant was closed for the quiet season.
