We recently stayed at this lovely hotel with our elderly relatives, and I cannot thank the staff enough for the outstanding service and care we received. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed.  Their attentiveness, kindness and patience made all the difference.  This was more than just a hotel stay—it felt like being looked after by family. We’re incredibly grateful for the hospitality, highly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights, and we only had warm water one day. It was a cold shower the other two days. It was humid and rainy during our stay and the room got stuffy pretty quickly.

The price is decent with breakfast included. There are options for breakfast, which is nice. The room is small, but it has everything you need. The night receptionist, Miriam, is lovely - she checked us in and made us feel very welcome. I'm vegan and for breakfast, they offered me two arepas with fried onion & tomato and fruit. I was glad they were able to offer something (although it would have been great to have some protein like beans)

Hot water in shower didn't always work, and shower could get a bit slippery. Lifts were only for suitcases.

Staff were nice. Most of the facilities worked fine. Bed was comfortable. Within walking distance of town centre and several cafes and restaurants.

I stayed at the Laureles Guest House for a week. The airport pickup worked perfectly and was only slightly more expensive than a regular taxi fare, so it was OK. The hotel isn't really in the city center. The nearest metro station is about a 30-minute walk away. If that's too much for you, you can always take an Uber or Cabify. There are smaller stores for everyday needs nearby and a large supermarket in the mall (Unicentro). It's only 10 minutes away and they also have a food court. You can eat well and inexpensively there. I didn't enjoy breakfast at the accommodation, so I can't comment on that. I'm an early riser. It's usually served from 7 a.m. The internet was fast and stable throughout my stay. I had a room facing the street, and it was quite noisy from the street noise. If you want quieter accommodations, get one without a city view. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak English. But that doesn't bother me, and if you need anything, they're there to help with hands, feet, or Google Translate.

Be aware only 2 car parks on sight - so likely you will need to pay at a secure lockup garage about 60 m down the block . I got a Street view room as wanted lots of lovely natural light - which it had , but beware constant road / motorbike noise until very late .

Nice and helpfully and super friendly staff, superclean room, american breakfast. Well equipped room, glasses, fridge, tv, towels. Safe and quiet area. And the best thing was the daily sightseeing tour. Traveling to Colombia was my dream come true and Medellin is a very nice city. Cocora Valley and Medellin the best. Motorbike taxi is super cool. I need to learn spanish :-)

We were happy with our room with self-catering kitchen, and air conditioning. We ended up staying an extra 2 nights. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The main receptionist in particular was an absolute star.
