The pool was a little awkward to use and the property was expensive compared to others in the area of a similar standard. There were also 2 power cuts during our stay. The shower was very weak.

Friendly staff who were always on hand, rooms were clean, location was excellent right in the centre of town. The breakfast was decent (fruit, eggs, bread, juice, coffee) and we were allowed to store our bags as well as check in early.

Excellent stay, the staff were very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. They helped us arrange a taxi service from Santa Marta to the facility for a good price and they adapted the breakfast to cater for gluten free. We loved the common spaces, the final floor with hammocks is great for watching the sunrise/ sun set, listening to the birds and reading a good book. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip. WiFi and aircon worked well. As we visited in low season we had the place to our selves virtually as there were very few other guests.

We couldn't watch TV at night poor signal, we stayed one night.

Very modern, clean and organized. The staff was very nice and helpful in every way. Highly recommend the hotel in the very city center but away from noise.

Very minor but the cold handle on my sink didn't work when I turned it on (no water came out), only the hot one did. However, the water wasn't hot so it was fine for what I needed it for (washing hands, brushing teeth, washing face). The windows are your typical single pane windows so it can be noisy being around the courtyard where the pool is. Although, the room had both air conditioning and a fan so between the two they were good white noise.

Perfect central location just off the main road. Staff were pleasant. Room was modern and clean. Breakfast was typical - eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee - but good. Nice open dining/work area. I questioned booking it with the 7.8 rating it got but it was only one of two options for the date I was looking for. I read the mixed reviews and just decided to take the chance. Happy I did...I would definitely stay again!

Overhead room lights were too bright and not dimmable. Bathroom door doesn't fit in door open frame and doesn't close. Toilet seat doesn't stay up for men. The sandwich that I bought from the dining room contained meat that might have been shoe leather.

The room was very basic - small with no wardrobe, no safe. The balcony is a joke facing the back street with abandoned buildings, not a pleasant view. The breakfast was not tasty.

The hotel is located in the center of the village, close to all the restaurants. The pool is nice and a very pleasant sitting area on the upper floor.

Unfortunately this is not your typical "luxury" hotel despite its high price and appearance/photos. Our stay was a disappointment from start to finish, including: - We were promised a room on the top floor (to avoid excessive noise), but upon check-in this was not available despite the hotel confirming its availability just days before us checking in. Staff refused to upgrade us and wanted extra payment to change room (to the one promised) in the middle of our stay when it became available - NOISY! Loud party music and/or TV noise banging from early in the morning to late in the evening. Totally unnecessary - Several power outages, lasting up to 3-4 hours without any electricity. Power outages are common in Minca, and despite this the hotel does not have a backup generator. Even budget hostels in town has this - Disgusting moldy smell in the rooms. The staff were fully aware of the problem as they constantly aired all unoccupied rooms all day due to these smell issues - Frequent lack of toilet paper and soap on the common toilets next to the pool - Tiny room with a small and uncomfortable double bed - Sour coffee in the breakfast

Noisy, not well isolated rooms. Hotel playing loud music at 7:30 in the morning. Make sure to bring earplugs to sleep with!

Amazing location in the center of Minca. The room was clean and the AC worked. The staff are kind. My toilet didn’t work and they sent someone to fix it - but it still didn’t work and then they allowed me to change rooms.

poorly trained staff. we were asked three times at breakfast if we would like coffee. there was a problem with the coffee machine, but some of the waiters were unaware and kept asking us. i wanted to order a cocktail (nobody else at the bar), but was told to wait as they were busy) so we went elsewhere. electricity in the room kept going out.
