It’s not luxurious at all, you can’t expect it for this price. But for the price, and for sleeping after spending the day outside, it’s perfect. Tho the shower and the bathroom could be a lot better.

The location is perfect if you want to enjoy Santa Marta at night after you spend the day in another beach. Right in from of the city bay with a nice view. The bed was comfortable and clean.

The room is a bit old and outdated, but serviceable.

The Hostel is located right on the water, overlooking the beach and plaza. The local bus terminal was close by for us to organize a couple of days trips while enjoying the nightlife in Santa Marta. The room was a good size and the A/C worked great. The staff were helpful and provided some good tips.

No AC - it gets hot. Room is fine, but looks much better in the photos. The living area is pretty useless with just one chair. Everything is cash only. The "mosquito netting" falls down a lot. Main street with party buses is right outside the window. A little noisy

View from the balcony. Two minutes from your room door to the beach. Restaurants, tours, shops, etc all around. Water pressure is good. No hot water - you don't really need it. They offer baggage storage if you're going to Tayrona or Minka. Though, it's not in a locked room, just behind the front desk.

- The fan in the first small room was making a bit of noise, but not too bad :)

- Located directly at the beach of Santa Marta. In the evenings there are some tourist party buses, we could still sleep with the window open. If you'd go to a hostel/hotel closer to the Parque de los novios, there is one bar next to a club and the noise was almost unbearable (also on weekdays) - We've had three different rooms during two stays, one smaller double with an ocean side view, one renovated double with a balcony (to the beach) and fridge and one very spacious double with a balcony, that even had a hammock (also a fridge) - The rooms are equipped with the basics (ceiling fan, soap, bedding, light blankets, towels) and we're all clean - The staff was super friendly and helpful, during our trip to the Tayrona national Parque we could leave some stuff there free of charge - After dark there is a night watch behind the door to the building, which is always locked so we felt safe all the time

No where to hang or put items. Saw a cockroach. Fan didn’t look stable in the ceiling!!

Better cleaning in the room could be good, and also improve the fan direction because you put it on top of the bed but it doesn’t take out the hot air, it doesn’t move so only works if you are lay down.

The bathroom was very outdated and small and the tan looked asif it was going to come out of the ceiling.

the wifi was terrible in my room. only worked by the front door & not in the bedroom or balcony. cold water in the shower/no ac.

i love the balcony and fridge. i appreciated that they had a guard at the gate sometimes. the fridge was a nice plus. the view is so nice.

Washroom in the room was pretty old and small . It was clean though which I can not complaim really.. I think the hotel had better times , probably it was an old glory in its time but it's a bit rundown now. If you are not very picky, it is a good choice.

The hotel is very well located, right in the malecon and two blocks from the square. Clean and big rooms for a good price. It is very secure, and they give you a key to lock and unlock the main entrance

The room did not have a bathroom door. The shower was just a pipe sticking out of the wall. There were stains on the bed clothes and towels. Walls are paper thin so you will hear other guests at all times

The location was good and we were able to store our luggage overnight as we visited Tayrona.
