My stay there was excellent! I even stayed longer than intended. The hosts are super helpful, were ready to give a hand with everything - from booking different activities to helping with the bus. The hostel is super clean, you can cook food in the kitchen which is also kept clean all the time. They can give you some nice cheap food recommendations

Quiet, clean and friendly family run hostel in a perfect central location handy to everything. Numerous comfortable places to relax. Clean bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen. Nice spacious room with fan and firm bed. Coffee provided also which was appreciated. We loved the calm ambience created by the decor and furnishings. We would definitely stay here again if we return to San Gil.

This was way beyond our expectations and we loved staying here. The family running the place is very nice and welcoming and always willing to help. The rooms are cosy and very well kept, spacious and maintained with very good standard. The location is right inside town, easy to walk around and closeby the neares bus station. The house has two twin cats absolutely adorable.

The host was very nice, and easy going. The location was good, only a short walk to the square and around the corner to the small terminal that goes to barichara. The shower was warm and the kitchen was well equipped. They were able organise rafting for us, looking after the payment and transport too. The two cats were great company, and the communal area with hammocks was nice to chill in. Overall, great value for money.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for 4 nights during a month long trip to Colombia. We loved it here. The family who run the hostel are extremely helpful, organising our excursions and taxis when we needed them. We stayed in the king room which was very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Super good value hostel in a central location in San Gil, really close to the terminalito for taking buses to the other lovely towns nearby. Henry and his family are helpful and around most of the time if you need anything. The dorm was spacious with lots of places to put your stuff and big storage lockers, the bed was really comfortable and the whole hostel is tastefully decorated with lots of places to chill.

The room with private bathroom outside the room is big and comfy. Some noise from the street but thats normal in any city centre. Great breakfast and helpful owners.would go back for shure.

The location was very convenient, close to the little bus terminal "El terminalito" which offers buses to the nearby towns. The hostel is a few blocks from the center of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the king's size room and, took us by surprise the restroom although it was private it wasn't within the room, it was "attached". However, the person in charge could re-accommodate us in a different room with a private restroom. We appreciate it!

We loved our stay at Real Dreams. The owners were fantastic and very helpful recommending local places to eat and helped with info on activities. Henry made excellent breakfasts everyday. This hotel is just a block away from the small bus terminal that services Barichara and all the local towns and just a few blocks from main park in San Gil. Super clean and a good choice of room types. We felt at home and will always return.

Everything was perfect! The owners are too kind, always there to give recommendations and make your stay in San Gil amazing! The hostel is ultra clean and the kitchen well equipped. There are plenty of bathrooms, and hot water for the shower.

I took an overnight bus to San Gil. Got to the hostel really tired. But Yeinny was extremely kind to let me rest and sleep way before check-in time since it was during the low season. Kitchen is stocked. Everything was frequently cleaned. Hot shower. Great location. A block away from the Terminalito that goes to Baricharra and Juan Curi, etc. Walking distance to the mercado/main plaza. Quiet at night.

The windows in the rooms are on the main road so can get a bit noisy (although it’s a small town so not a huge amount of traffic)
