Didn’t have hot water initially, problem with boiler. Water in bath came out brown.

Good location, 5 - 10 minutes safe walk to the shops, bars and restaurants of El Poblado. We went for the room for 4 with a bath, the room was lovely and comfortable for just the two of us. Staff we met were all very nice. Breakfast wasn’t the best but we weren’t blown away by any breakfast we had on our month long trip around Colombia (sorry).

It can be noisy if you have bad neighbours. All the room are located next to each other. We got a group of noisy tourists next door and they were drinking & yelling at midnight. I had to reach out to the receptionist for help.

The location is super, 3 mins walk to Parque de El Pablado (the departure point of tours to Guatapé). Lots of great restaurants nearby.

Breakfast option could be changed up, we stayed 4 nights and the sam breakfast was offered each morning. Room has no window, however this is personal preference and could not be possible since it's an old building converted. wifi could be improved.

No shampoo, only a soap dispenser that was empty and no window to the outside.

Your own code to get in and out of the hotel was great. The staff also stayed late to ensure we could check into our room past 10pm with our delayed flight and traffic.

The area is full of loud bars and people, not for those of a nervous disposition.

The hostess was charming and communicative, with lots of suggestions for things to do. The hotel is beautifully done, in colonial style with great facilities including a lovely shower and air conditioning. It is very convenient for transport links and there are many restaurants, bars etc on the doorstep. Our room had no windows, but this did mean that it was quiet at night.

Not very well isolated so noise from others can be heard. Depends on the other people in the hotel really.

It is in a really good location, close to the park where tours depart and close to tube station and night life area. Staff is very friendly and place is safe, some nice and good restaurants around. They allow us to check in before and provide a room in the meantime to rest with my family

Housekeeping was inconsistent with service. It was not an inconvenience but it would be good to know if the beds are going to be done daily or not and the change of towels. Also, I would recommend a shampoo and liquid soap dispenser for each room because some rooms were provided with shampoo and soap but others were not from our group. Since the hotel was renovated recently, I am sure these are things that are being planned out.

The location was ideal since it was within walking distance of the bars/restaurants in Poblado. The hotel is an antique traditional home which had rustic and artisan decor which we liked very much. The owners were very nice (thank you Angela) for the hospitality and recommendations. The rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms too. We would recommend it for families or groups of friends traveling together.

Blinds very see through so not much privacy and also let lots of light in making it hard to sleep. Noisy from 5am onwards also, with people walking past and talking loudly.

Extremely disappointing – not a 4-star hotel ! Do not trust the photos or rating. The hotel is under noisy construction (not disclosed), with unsafe stairs, broken furniture, no hot water, and flimsy room locks. We had no proper bedding, poor breakfast (just diluted juice), and another guest even tried to enter our room. Staff were unresponsive and the key failed twice. We barely slept and lost a day of our holiday recovering. This place is **not safe, not comfortable, and not worth the price!!
