Beautiful location. Very isolated. Zip lines are cool and guides are great but it’s not for the less adventurous of your party.

No English speakers at facility. Expected some more animals in vicinity.

    Nice location- beautiful scenery

Tried to take advantage of the client. When we arrived we were asked an extra fee for the guide to take us to the cabaña. The week before when we stayed this was not the case and this time they asked for 50000 pesos. I try to reason with them. How is it possible to get a cabala and then have to pay extra to get to the cabaña.

Treehouse: The bed is comfortable and the shower although cold (as expected) was clean and a pleasure to use. The guy at reception was very welcoming as was the lady that took me for the night walking tour. The breakfast included was good quality and tasty.

Treehouse Overview - Overpriced for what it is in comparison to the area and the level of service provided. Accomodation was good otherwise. Perhaps I just had bad luck and being close to Christmas is reasoning behind some of the staffs lackadaisical approach. In Depth: For the price, it wouldn't hurt to provide a water dispenser in the treehouse. When I walked back to get some water and wanted to enquire about other drinks, no one got out of their hammock to even ask if I wanted something...so I left the reserve and found a shop playing music down the road in order to buy some drinks. I was taken on a night tour, but it seemed the English speaker couldn't be bothered or perhaps he had somewhere to go, so he asked if I could go with someone who mainly spoke Spanish (she was lovely by the way and despite the language barrier was very informative). You pay a premium as you are getting some level of comfortability in the jungle so you can hear nature. But at 8pm in the pitch black dark I was disturbed by the sound of a strimmer and lights not far from me for what felt like an hour (but it was probably only 45 mins). It was so loud I actually recorded it. Last thing was the taxi I'd asked to be reserved for the morning at 7am to the airport apparently wasn't, but luckily the same lady from the tour (Rosa or similar...apologies if name wrong) helped get me a taxi so I arrived on time. This last bit was perhaps a clerical error, but after all the other stuff I decided to mention as it was frustrating.

Be sure to read all the details bc if you plan accordingly you'll have the best stay! You do pay cash when you arrive. There is no way for them to take a card so come prepared. The main check in is the only outlet for charging anything. The treehouses are spectacular. They are about a 5-10 min walk through the rainforest so even for checking In you'll want to be covered from mosquitos and afternoon rain showers. I would recommend boots for walking to your hut. There are nice towels and great pillows and clean sheets but no soaps to speak of so be sure to pack your own. The nights can get a little chilly for an hour or so, I kind of wish I'd had a light blanket for that. But I was the only one of the group that got chilly. The mosquito nets over the beds help you rest easy knowing that you won't get any bites. Bc it's up in a tree, the wind will rock and shake the whole room. I loved it, but it can be a little scary. If you do the night walk, no lights are provided but you use your cellphone light. Made me wish I'd brought a small flashlight to save my battery since the charging was far from our room. Luckily during dinner I was able to juice up. The dinner though: WOW! It was fresh made to order right in front of us. The woman making the food was quick, so polite and welcoming and absolutely skilled. We loved the dinner. Since there isn't much around for other options, bring the cash and eat on site. Dinner was 25,000 pesos each and well worth every penny. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, again made plate by plate and served with beautiful presentation. This was a rare and fun stay to add to our time in Leticia. If you know what to expect, you'll love it to.

The only issue we had, which is a silly one, was my toilet lid didn't stay open so it would close on my back while I went. And you have to hold it to sit down. But it was such a small hiccup we didn't worry much about it. The shower took a moment to figure out you have to hold the shower head to be able to turn the handle since it's pipes aren't in a wall and it could move about.

The experience is something else. No internet, no electricity; only nature! Friendly staff (guides, cooks, etc). The room has the basics you need for a confortable stay (toilet, sink, shower, mosquito nets, portable lamp). I took the full-day plan they offer, unfortunately the water level was not high enough for canoeing, hence it was more of a half-day plan. I had to leave very (very!) early in the morning, and my guide and the cook were there before 5:00 to fetch me from the cabin and cook me breakfast (I was not expecting that).

Not a big deal, but it would be very useful to have some hooks or something similar to hang the lamp.

The staff was really friendly and alway available when we had questions. The cook is amazing, I loved her pizza :) They offer personlized tours which I find great.

In our apartment the mosquito net had some gaps, I would siggest to pay more attention to its maintenance. In the dry season it's fine but in the rainy season it could be a problem.
