Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The standard room is a bit weathered (broken door knob, water damage on dresser and small tear in blinds).
The buffet breakfast and overall service was impressive. The bed was comfy. The 15 minute complementary massage was lovely!

Thank you to all the staff at the NH Cali Royal, who are very helpful especially in the restaurant, special thanks to the Manager Jose and reception staff Luigi who looked after me very well during my stay. The staff at this hotel are very friendly, its a busy hotel but they somehow still manage to help you. I like the pool and jacuzzi, the lobby is really nice, I was able to sit at a table and use my laptop. The location is really good, right next to two malls and Jardin Plaza is a short taxi ride away. Very good breakfast!

Pool looked like it needed cleaning, water was very murky. They also charge $15,000 COP for a bottle of water which seems excessive.
Buffet breakfast was very good, room was clean and comfortable.

Just a few minor complaints. The hot water was inconsistent. It always took at least 10 minutes for the shower to warm up and sometimes it was scorching and sometimes just warm enough. My room was one with a hottub outside in an enclosed deck. It was nice but with little natural light it was quite dark!
The pool and breakfast/bar area are very nice. The pool is refreshing and diligently cleaned every morning. I really like the location as it borders on a residential area that is quiet at night but just across the street from a large shopping mall which also has some nice restaurants. It is also nice that there is a fairly small but upscale grocery store in the adjacent shopping center. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower are nice. I love the breakfast and the staff are all extremely friendly.

Breakfast, very bad coffee, December 6th , my wife asked the girl with the long hair, (not the one who ask which room you have) for fried eggs she answered impolite that my wife had to go and order by her self outside

Just a few little details - the shower was pretty cold and the handle came off in my hand. Some lights had gone and the light switches were in odd places. No kettle or hairdryer, considering the premium rate - though you can ask for such things.
Very comfortable bed, well kept spaces, delicious breakfast and lovely staff. Easy to relax here.

1. Lack of A/C around the facility and on the morning at the rooms (between 4-6 am). 2. Snacks and drinks at the room; accountability and prices. They over charged me and I had to pay for items that I didn’t consumed.

The rooms and bathrooms were a bit dated. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom.
The breakfast was great. There was an amazing variety of tropical assorted breads, eggs and other hot meal choices. The waiters were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is well located on a quiet area close to Club Campestre and three different shopping centers. The hotel has a good size swimming pool. The food in the restaurant was delicious.
