Internet service is passable but can be spotty at peak hours. TV cable service includes Netflix and You Tube but is so complicated that staff is even confused about its operation although I did finally figure out how to use the mouse and the two remote controls to get to watch what I wanted.

Hotel is located at the entrance to Candelaria neighborhood very near good options for shopping, dining and visits to the gold and emerald museums. Rooms are ample, spacious well furnished.

This simple hotel was a very last-minute booking due to an unanticipated schedule change. I'm so glad that this is the hotel I chose! Everything about it was easy and perfectly satisfactory, just what I needed in that moment. First, it has a great location. You can easily reach it from the airport by bus 1 to Universidades station, from which it is a 10-minute walk. You are also located in the heart of La Candelaria, near all the historic sights. Second, the staff is very responsive and eager to please. Third, although the hotel is a bit older and its age is reflected in its facilities, the room itself is very clean and comfortable. Two standouts: the room is quite large and the shower is hot and with great water pressure. Thank you!

We arrived at nealy 10 p.m., standing outside for nearly 10 minutes, there is no one answering the door bell and phone at first. No 24 hour reception!! We knock the door hardly then finally someone came out

Super location, near Museo del Oro and walking distance from everything in la Candelaria. The price is very good. The room was basic but clean. The staff was kind.

The room felt pretty tattered and torn. I actually think the room was quite clean but it felt dirty because of the old carpet and crooked floor. Bathroom door couldn't be fully opened because it hit the toilet. Leaky windows were kinda loud. I dont know how cold it gets in bogota but there was no heating so that might be a problem in cold season. Advertised to have a safe but it didnt. Main door is always locked so you have to ring a bell for someone to come let you in, but they were prompt.

The location is perfect if you want to step out of your hotel and walk to fun stuff. I took a few walking tours that met right outside the main door. Very central. Hot water. 24-7 Staff were nice. Common areas clean. Nice art on walls. Once I got to know the place I realized my belongings were safe in the room, but I wasnt 100% sure at first.

You had to pay for toiletries like shampoo. The internet connection was very bad. The lady at the reception didn't had the best attitude. The hot water took a long time to work. They weren't very clear with the tax addition.

The hotel was very good located in downtown Bogotá. There were a lot of stores and a park nearby. The owner was very nice and attentive. The hotel was interesting, very 70s like but comfortable and clean. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. The price was very fair.

WiFi could be better. There was music playing from the bar downstairs until 2:30am. But we got used to it after the first night and it didn't bother us.

Good location, friendly staff, very helpful man working at the desk, he speaks English which was huge plus. It's not easy to find someone who speaks English. He helped us a lot and answered all our questions.

Wish they had a heater of some sort. It's cold at night in Bogota.

Right in the old town at the junction of Av. Jimenez and Carrera 4. Many bistros, restaurants of all sizes and cuisines. So very easy to grab a bite even though I arrived near midnight. If you arrive late in the night you will meet Leonardo, the host, a very helpful chap, and who speaks good English. The façade looks a bit used but it is its character.

I can complain about many little things that I didn't like about this hotel, but for the price and location good luck to find something close to it. 5 minutes walk to all the Bogota downtown attractions.

My key card would deactivate every single day so I had to go and get it reactivated at the front desk. When I asked what the problem was they said and I quote that's just the way it is. Other than that it was a good time

The ventilation needs to be improved, and stable hot water cannot be guaranteed

A great location for tourists, and the staff are very helpful. They have an old elevator that needs to be manually operated, which is interesting to see.
