Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsOne of the houses was a bit warm, as the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. Communication before arrival could also have been better (with the payment and arrangement of transfer). But overall, I was really satisfied and had a great stay.
Beautiful location in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and wildlife. The gated entrance made us feel safe throughout our stay. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious – even had steak with cheese sauce! Cocktails were great, staff very friendly and spoke good English. We also enjoyed some excellent massages. Highly recommended!

United Kingdom- CTV on balcony, it felt very invasive of our privacy. Did not like at all. - pool cleaning before breakfast took so long - wanted to do a 6am swim on multiple mornings but couldn’t. - not that we didn’t like, but as a suggestion, would be awesome if you had bird feeders on your balcony!
The location was beautiful, hotel was clean, the food and cocktails were great, staff very friendly.

United StatesThe wifi signal in the room was weak and sometimes non existent (due to the hotel’s location). There were not enough outlets in the room for electronics. The A/C took awhile to cool off the room and the wooden shades didn’t completely close, so I felt like I was air conditioning part of the outside. There was no luggage rack to put bags onto (just a long countertop) It was unfortunate breakfast wasn’t included in the rate (it was about $7.50 for breakfast, which I suppose is fair given the remote location of this resort). It is also unfortunate that there aren’t any restaurants nearby - just theirs. I suppose this is good if you’re there to unwind and don’t want to go out exploring. The pool was nice, but the temperature of the water was not refreshing at all (July) as the pool is in the sun pretty much all day long . I suppose I could have gone to the onsite river but the river was on the low side and it would have been difficult to swim in it (wading would be possible or sitting in it).
The hotel grounds were beautiful. My hotel room was a bungalow (stand alone). I had plenty of room for my belongings. The bungalow had A/C and a small porch and offered a hairdryer and shampoo . It has a secured gated entrance. The pool is big, and they offer a welcome drink and snack. There is a walking path down to the river or between this property and the other resort -Senda Watapuy. They have an activities coordinator to help schedule local visits/tours, but there are also some chairs located outside if you just wanted to stay on property and relax/unwind. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, asking how they could improve or if you had everything you needed.

United StatesWe liked our room. We could have used a broom to sweep out the sand that we collected during our adventures at Tayrona National Park. Also, the placement of the air conditioner so close to the bed woke us up a few times with either cold or the bright light from the control panel. You can adjust the plate so it doesn’t blow on you, but there are regular power lapses which then reset the AC to its default settings.
It’s a beautiful property. The staff is very kind and accommodating, which makes it a lovely place to stay.

MoroccoSet in lush surroundings, and the river was devine (this made our trip as we could swim and cool off in a private and natural setting at the end of a hot day walking). The staff were lovely and helpful. Very close to the entrance to the Tayrona National park.

United StatesEverything was great.
You can tell that the owners of the hotel, along with the staff truly care about the guests and want to make sure we enjoy our stay at their hotels. The managers Maryuris and Angie, went above and beyond with helping us during our stay. I truly believe that any issues you might have, they will do everything that they can to help you out. Besides the hospitality, everything was great. The beds smelled very clean, like fresh laundry, with different sized pillows. The view of nature around the pool and the hotel was amazing, and I very much appreciated that there wasn't any loud music playing. Everything felt like paradise in nature. I would definitely return and would want to check out some of their other hotels in the area. Over all, the highlight of our stay in Colombia.

GermanyTerrific place to stay when you're in Tayrona! It's a calm and relaxing place with a beautiful nature-integrated hotel complex which we absolutely loved. The vibe was great and especially the pool and restaurant are a 10/10 must try (we recommend to visit the restaurant of the partner hotel Senda Watapui as well, amazing place and food). The rooms were very clean and the the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enormous recommendation! PS book a massage ! It’s absolutely worth it.

United KingdomSet in a stunning location! The staff were so friendly. Our hut was spacious. The food was delicious. The bed was huge and comfy. There is a free water bottle refill station. It is a ten min walk to the entrance of Tayrona. The river by the side of the hotel is stunning. I can't fault this place.

NetherlandsThe meatballs on the menu were the only thing we didnt like of what we ate
Loved it! Great food (recommend the baby beef). Also possible to eat in their sister hotel up the road, with a slightly different menu. Rooms are large and amazing, as well as the central pool area. Lots of birds, squirrels and some beautiful blue tailed small lizards in the nature surrounding the cabins. Very close to Tayrona park entrance (walking distance). Massages are very good! Free cold water refills at the bar.

PortugalThe was not a lot of pressure in the shower and the water was cold in one of the bathrooms. As you can expect, there’s a lot of insects (even inside the bedrooms).

United StatesSenda Koguiwe was amazing! The setting of the hotel is incredible surrounded by rainforest. It was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and clean and the hammock on the porch was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The biggest surprise was how delicious the food was! some of our favorite food from our trip, it was all fresh and flavorful. Make sure to try the chickpea ceviche! It is only a 5-10 minute walk to Tayrona National Park which made getting to the park so easy. Highly recommend getting a massage. The treatments are affordable and the setting is unreal overlooking a flowing river. I would absolutely stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.
