A standout stay on our vacation in Colombia – one of the top, if not the top, hotel of our trip. Hotel Senderos Del Mar has an incredible and attentive staff, they noticed and remembered small dietary habits to continue to make our time exceed all expectations of a hotel stay. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean. The food was outstanding, great portions and flavors for the price. The hotel is out of the normal path for travelers, so it was quiet and intimate, while being extremely accessible by bus to other beaches and Parque Tayrona.

Beautiful hotel with lovely gardens filled with mangos you can pick! The pool was so relaxing, the room was spacious and the staff were so nice and relaxed about us keeping our room longer on the final day. We would highly recommend!

The beach had quite a lot of litter so it's not the best for relaxing on.

Staff were exceptional, pool was lovely to sit and soak up the sun. Beach was only 15 minute walk away and there were some shops and restaurants 30 minute walk away. Varied food menu and all at reasonable cost. It was very quiet as we were there during off season but we loved that it was the perfect place to relax.

We did not really like the location. Nothing is walking distance. Only a deserted beach with a seaspot nobody swims at.

Everything great!

Starting from an excellent service till the cleanliness of the entire area the Hotel made an excellent impression and the stay was simply great. We prolonged our stay several times because all considered it was the perfect match of location, service and organisation and price. You have a great connection to all surrounding venues like Mendihuaca, Palomina and of course the Tayrona National Park. Not to mention the beautiful and calm beach which you reach within 15 minutes by food. During the years we have tested many sites and this one is very good. Allways keep in mind the general environment. There probably will be bugs and moskitos to some extend. There allways will be (-> repellent). It has an refigerator! The stuff is exceptionally kind and relaxed and always very helpful. The place is calm and perfect for relaxing. Check out at 12 without stress you can normally let your things stored a bit longer if you need to. PS: the first and until now only Colombian place with absolute great pillows. The matrices are great as well!

Property was lovely with a pool and pool table. Great facilities nice clean rooms, staff were amazing especially Richard and his team. Would recommend anyone to stay here as a quiet getaway.

For the price we paid i have no complaints. If I had to be picky, the mattress was little firm and maybe towels could be softer too. Theres no restaurants or shops nearby but luckily for you the food is so good there.

Richard and his team were great in making sure our stay was enjoyable. They went above and beyond our expectations. We took a public bus from Santa Marta and got dropped off right outside the hotel. Stayed for 3 nights and ate in every night because the food was so good. Different cuisines and vegetarian dishes each night. Cocktails were great too. They did our laundry for us too. Its very quiet hotel next to farmlands and the swimming pool is so nice and warm. Its 10min walking distance to Valencia waterfalls and 15min bus ride to entrance of Tayrona national park.

Very homely, quiet and relaxing stay. The staff were very accomodating and super helpful with everything. I stayed in a hostel room dorm, I didn't realise when I booked that it was a hotel with hostel rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, excellent value for money as a backpacker. Close to the beach and a bus leaves at the bottom of the road to head to the National Park and/or Santa Marta. There is a beautiful beach within walking distance. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing break whilst backpacking I highly recommend this stay, there is hostel down the road that has an excellent vibe if you want more of a party scene for the day/ night.

- Some times loud music not matching the ambience - No restaurants around, you have to go by car/bus - The food is quite okay-ish if you like Colombian food, but not as great to eat it all the time

- Comfy rooms, pretty new, with some storage space - Good shower pressure - Close to the road where you take bus to go to the beach, surf spots or Tayrona NP

Would have liked more information regarding the cocoa tour beforehand, as it involved a steep long walk, which we were just about ok with but it took us a bit unaware. No hot water in shower, and room not serviced on second day.

It was lonely. Mingling with other travelers is always a rewarding experience which was missing from this stay.

The room was very clean and confortable, with plenty of luggage space and an ample shower. The staff was helpful and courteous, especially Esteban when he provided transportation to and from the beach in a motorized three-wheeler. The recommendations from Andres were very valuable and Anderson was professional on his handling of our booking.
