    This was absolutely perfect hospitality experience! Everything was completely perfect and staff was paying attention to the smallest of detail. It was absolute pleasure to spend couple of days there in the middle of the Columbia trip. We have arrive by a car transport, past reviews were commenting that the car drive there is very uncomfortable, from my point of view it was not that bad at all.

    The only good things this hotel offered were the housekeeping service and the meals. I would especially highlight the breakfast and the Humo restaurant.

    I guess it’s the first five-star hotel where I had an absolutely terrible stay and had to tell staff every moment what to do. Professionalism: The staff were unprofessional, slow, and not at a five-star level. When I asked the receptionist for help, he said: “Find a guy and ask him for his number; he’s going to be your concierge.” Accessibility: My husband had surgery on both knees and could not walk up the hills to reach breakfast or the pool. Although club cars were available, they often didn’t arrive or only came after the third call. We had to involve the guest relations manager to get cars to show up. Stacked fees: The restaurant prices were “above the moon,” and on top of that the hotel adds a “customer service fee” while still expecting tips. After talking to locals, I found out this is not in line with regulations. Overall, the attitude was that guests are treated like bags of money rather than valued visitors. The situation at the beach was the final straw. I was charged $80 for a 15-minute massage that I did not want, and when I went to file a report the security guard showed me a list of more than 15 people scammed that same day, including one guest who lost $600. The hotel is fully aware of this problem, yet does nothing about it. Aside from housekeeping and food, this hotel failed in every key area: service, accessibility, pricing practices, and guest safety. For a hotel that calls itself five-star, I expected far better.

    Isolated without sufficient indoor activities. Almost nothing to do during the day Practically, Zero activity after 9/10 pm No value for money

    It’s a really beautiful property, the hotel has a great food and cocktails program. There’s many pools to enjoy, the beach is very well maintained and the staff all around the hotel are lovely!

    Facilities are great, rooms very comfortable and staff extremely kind, attentive and professional. Service on the beach is fabolous with many complementary juices and fruit offerings. Quality of the food is high, highly recommend the Caribbean restaurant (Bahia).

    The beach is beautiful, but the sea sometimes not extremely transparent / turquoise, and not for snorkeling. Restaurant prices are a bit too high, at par with some of the fine dining spots in Cartagena.

    Very safe place. Nice large CLEAN room, everything works, very comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. SPA service is excellent! Pools and pool areas are clean. Great breakfast with tons of delicious choices. I have to say HUMO - is absolutely a must go restaurant!!! When we tried it the first time, it became the only place we would go for dinner! TOP NOTCH!!!! food art deliciousness!!!! Thank you!

    The beach area could be a bit better.

    Sofitel is a beautiful place, great service. Food.is excellent

    The location is off the beaten path, roads are still in the works, not easy to get to.

    The beach is gorgeous. It’s very small but beautiful.

    The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. Information was tough to find and reception wasn’t helpful. 4 moldy rooms before we could be moved to a room that didn’t stink and we had to fight very hard to get moved. They didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. Beach staff very slow and never got us a menu. Prices are kind of ridiculous. Tons of vendors on the beach. Room TV is very outdated no smart anything only local channels. Hotel never reached out to arrange transfer to hotel and when I did they never responded. Buffet is kind of gross people grab things with there fingers like bowls of nuts and the staff didn’t clean it up when they saw
