The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room. The hotel had a few Wi-Fi networks, but none of them worked, unfortunately.

The place is really close to the airport, so very convenient if you need a good night's rest before a flight. We had requested an airport shuttle and even though we arrived late at night, we were picked up and brought to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfy and had the softest blankets. We were able to get some rest before our flight the next day.

Rooms were tiny and did not look to be the same quality as the pictures online. I could hear the conversations and tv of the adjoining room through the thin walls. Located along a highway so all the road noise enters the room.

Nice landscaping. Hot water worked good. Staff were friendly. I went there for tennis lessons so it was convenient since the courts are right next to the room.

AMAZING staff! We arrived after a long day around 9pm and the check in was smooth and quick. We were brought to our room which was basic but had a big bed, TV and suitable bathroom. It was exactly as we expected. Very quiet and comfortable. We were offered drinks too. I had sprained my ankle that morning and was in need of ice, the guy brought this to us straight away and it was a lifesaver. He organised a taxi for us to the airport at 5am for 15,000 compared to Uber which was 80,000! Amazing thank you so much!

This is a motor hotel wanting to be a boutique hotel. Personnel almost non existent in the front desk, inflated prices for return transport to the airport, I did use the included transport from it, for which the driver charged the hotel $10.000 COP, but they wanted to charge me $50.000 COP for the way back. I ended up going by feet, it took me 20 minutes to get back to the airport. About the room, it barely has old and new towels, toilet paper and no amenities at all, not a single soap bar or shampoo mini bottle. How comes that the beds and bedside table are made of grey concrete, just like a cheap motel? The TV was not working, I was informed there was no Internet, so I just used my mobile data. I paid almost $300.000 COP for such poor service, so not worth the money. They need to do better or going out of business.

What I Didn’t Like About the Property My stay at this property was far from enjoyable due to several critical issues. Firstly, all the units are positioned to face the afternoon sun, making the interiors unbearably hot and muggy. With no insulation on the metal roofs, the direct sunlight turns the units into stifling ovens. The lack of effective cooling solutions forced me to leave both the bathroom window and sliding door open, which compromised privacy and security. Additionally, there was no internet or Wi-Fi access during my stay, reportedly due to airport area maintenance. This proved cumbersome, particularly for someone relying on connectivity for travel planning. The lack of such basic amenities made the experience far from relaxing. Overall, this location is unmistakably a one-star property. While its proximity to the airport might be convenient, that is its only redeeming feature. I strongly urge Booking.com reviewers and readers to consider these points before booking. The property, as it stands, does not justify its rates or provide an acceptable level of comfort.

Review of the Property This property consists of standalone units surrounding multiple clay courts, where tennis practice is offered. The layout gives the venue a unique appearance, but during my stay, the property was undergoing extensive renovations. While it served its purpose for a short 12-hour layover to catch a flight, the overall experience left much to be desired. The standout feature was the inclusion of a shuttle service, which was helpful. Additionally, the staff was accommodating enough to allow my two pets, despite the hotel’s stated no-pet policy. However, this came with an additional charge of 160,000 COP, bringing my total to just under 500,000 COP for a brief 12-hour stay. While I appreciate the pet accommodation, I found this rate excessively high, especially considering the property’s condition. The renovations significantly impacted the stay. There was no Wi-Fi or internet access, which was apparently due to external work near the airport, though this added to the inconvenience. The venue’s construction state, coupled with the lack of amenities, does not justify the price charged. While I acknowledge the efforts of the staff, the overall experience merits no more than a one-star rating. I hope the management reviews their pricing and policies during renovations, as this was far from satisfactory. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise given the current state of the property.

For my taste its too raw, it doesnt give me tye privacy and safety I like but also in this case I had expectations different from what I got. I thought its a hotel and instead it was just containers from wood. Which is not bad, the idea is great, just not for me.

Its comvinient and the pick up from airport worked excellent. Driver asked to give him some extra tip but well, you are in a place where most people need money so cant complain much. At arrival everything was ready and well organised.

I don't see how this is a 4 star hotel - rooms were much more basic than I expect and not really suites, more likely simple rooms. They did the job, the bed was comfortable but I might as well have stayed in a nearby cheaper place. I was a little disappointed when I arriving but I slept fine and service was good. The restaurant next door where breakfast is served is a typical diner located on a highway.

I needed a place close to the airport with shuttle service so Star Suites was great. I also loved that they have 24 hour reception service and the personnel was very friendly, helpful and serviceminded.

Shower was not working properly. Only cold water. I normal shower cold but that’s not everyone’s preference. Very simple cabins, single walled all the noise of the road could be heard all night long. They charge upfront the full amount via external payment system, because they say there is high demand. But that is a bit strange given that in case of no show I get charged by booking and it’s more normal to pay on site. I think they are worried that I would refuse to stay in such a place once I see it for myself. It’s very no frills. Not bad. Anyway thanks to the guard who was very friendly and organising transportation for us and helping with luggage. Kind guy.
