Despite paying for a “suite with balcony” the rooms were tiny, small hard double bed, tiny and basic bathroom, gaps everywhere to let the mosquitos in, no lunch or dinner service as we were the only guests

Beautiful location in nature, very friendly and helpfull staff and great breakfast

Located at a secluded area, quiet, comfortable and well maintained. This ecological hotel offers a unique view to the river, at night only the sound of the river is heard and nothing else. The premises are impeccable clean and it has a swimming pool besides the magnificent view of the river. The hostess Maria Helena is very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about almost everything. She took care of every little detail making us feel at home. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but next to it there’s a restaurant with bar and beautiful surroundings. The food there is extraordinary with a very relaxing atmosphere with friendly stuff and exquisite affordable prices. Maria Helena helped us with an issue we encountered that quickly was resolved. We were able to talk to the administrator and they were very nice and patient with us since we were the ones who created a misunderstanding. The breakfast is included and the next day, two ladies took good care of our morning meal, they were also friendly and polite. Maria Helena took care of our transportation since we had to leave early in the morning to the airport. We arrived a little early for our check in but this young man let us in even if there wasn’t time for us. He was very polite that even he carried my wife’s luggage to the reception desk. We were offered fresh coffee during the check in and that was a great gesture from them. The room had a super sized bathroom and equipped with all the needs, clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The two beds had mosquito nets and clean sheets and soft comfortable pillows. We hanged out in this beautiful balcony with two chairs and a small nice table where we had our drinks at night. Good for the price, and very importantly quiet and pleasant to stay in. Highly recommend!!!! If i ever want to go back to Minca, i would definitely choose this hotel again!!!, thank you Maria Helena, you are such a sweet lady with great hospitality and good service!!.

The only downside of this place is that it doesn’t have a restaurant, other than that, everything was perfect.

Pool and jacuzzi were filthy and unusable. On arrival, all doors and windows of bedrooms were wide open, and the rooms were full of mosquitos. Thankfully, there were nets for sleeping in.

Very quiet place surrounded by nature, fresh air and a pleasant climate, the receptionist was very friendly and allowed us to enter the room before check in time. She facilitated and recommended places to order food and was attentive at all times. Despite the various other negative aspects of the hotel during the stay, these details made it a little more bearable.

The hotel was much better in its advertising, the room was not so extraordinary, the fan did not fulfill its function satisfactorily. The place was full of an exaggerated amount of insects during the night which despite being in the middle of nature was too much, I have stayed several times in hotels with the same style and did not have that inconvenience. The pool was dirty upon arrival and the towels had a strange smell. Altogether these details made the experience fall short of our expectations.

The location was beautiful. It’s very tranquil and The view was amazing. We saw some lovely wildlife right from the room and the pool. The staff were all very nice and breakfast was very good too.

The room was not as comfortable as I would have liked for the price and for the most expensive option. The floor is wooden slats which have gaps directly outside so bugs can easily get in, so a mosquito net would be good to have. The bathroom was very small and the shower was very cold. The room did however have good aircon, which it sounds like the smaller rooms don’t have

The area, the view and the nature is extremely beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There were big spaces between the floor boards and the windows weren't sealed properly, so the room got full of mosquitoes and other insects at night, which made an otherwise nice room very uncomfortable. A mosquito net would have helped a lot.

The stay was ok, but don't go there expecting a "boutique" hotel as announced. It’s a very basic one, more similar to a hostel. The good part is that it’s a walking distance from the main street of Minca, so if that’s a must to you, might be the right choice!

We’re not demanding people, but it was quite far from what Booking shows. We booked last minute and, after arriving, decided to stay only 1 instead of 2 nights and changed places. - The room announces a balcony, but it doesn't say that it's shared with the other room; - There was a large gap in the bathroom and bedroom windows, which allowed many insects to enter; - The photos are far better than the actual place; - The room wasn’t very clean upon arrival (spider webs that didn’t look from the same day, unclean floor); - Very poor wifi in general, but worst in the room; - Pillows were very worn out and bed was small; - There’s only one 8-seat table for breakfast, so if everyone goes at the same time there’s no room to sit.

Staff, air conditioning and natural setting

Pool area wasn’t very nice, quite overpriced for slightly dated rooms. Shower was very small and difficult to use.

Very kind and helpful staff, AC was working well, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Loved hearing all the ju no le noises at night.

WiFi in my room was almost non existent so I needed to go up by the reception desk if I wanted to use it. Shower was very small with low pressure and no hot water. Breakfast was mediocre but the kindness of the staff made up for it. It was also further away than a lot of main things.

This hotel has an excellent balcony and overall vibe. The facilities within the hotel really let you feel at home and at one with nature. The hotel staff were super friendly and supportive. They were the best part as it really gave that cared for feeling. There was a nice pool to relax to as well as a stones throw from the local river which you can hear at night that was very calming. Its a short walk (20 mins) from the town and easily signed and accessible. This made it ideal as you avoid all the hustle and bustle and noise that comes from the town.

The hotel.is in a magical location in the rain forest with a river for swimming below, and just 10.minutes from.the village of Minca .

It was very clean. There’s a private entrance to a river part. Has arm water but our shower was the best.

The bed was really small and the net is unstable and tiny, you can’t really move. The room is really warm, the fan is not enough! If you book a room with balcony, the balcony is shared. The breakfast area is not enough for everyone to have breakfast at the same time and you have to go outside in the heat. If it’s windy the ceiling is not totally attached so it starts to shake and the noisy is very loud, it is a shame because you are only supposed to hear the waterfalls and the birds. The staff blames it on the wind but they could have it fixed.
