The Somos Beats hotel was a great stay. I enjoyed how close it was to all the nightlife and venues. You're literally in the heart of Poblado. I enjoyed the Mosquito rooftop bar/lounge which had great views and good food and drinks. The staff were very nice and attentive all the time. I would definetly recommend Somos Beats when coming to Medellin for a couple nights.

We stayed over a weekend and the music on the Saturday night rooftop bar was super loud in the room. Won’t be an issue if you plan on staying out late or don’t stay in the room directly under the bar.

The lack of breakfast options, same meal everyday. Although the only meal at the hotel on each of the 4 nights, by the second day I was ready for something different to eat.

I liked the cleanliness of the room as well as how spacious it was . I enjoyed the rooftop bar.

lack of mirrors and layout could’ve been better as only 1 bedside table. we couldn’t get into the rooftop bar when it was open as it was too busy even though we were guests. couple of issues with water temperature but they sorted straight away. very noisy at night from both the rooftop bar and other rooms.

Breakfast and location were perfect. Centrally located by the bars and restaurants. Medellin is loud at night. If you don't like noise, this is not your hotel. Rooftop was a nice vibe too!

My room was on the 10th floor, right below their club, so I had a lot of noise coming in until around midnight.

There wasn’t much, however we didn’t have internet for the whole stay but that seemingly was out of their control. The limited inclusive breakfast options were disappointing and from a security point of view there were some concerns. We had friends staying on floor 2 and it was completely accessible from the street. I had to get a replacement card for my room at 1am and the front desk just gave me one without checking anything, which was concerning.

A very convenient location, the rooms were very larger (group of 3 girls sharing a 2 bed) and it felt very boutique! The breakfast was delicious though the menu for inclusive breakfast was limited. The staff were great and very helpful. If you want quiet then ask for floor 4,5 or 6. The other floors are very loud.

The rooms have a dark, industrial feel and offer a lot of space. However, the bed is placed in a very awkward position with only one bedside table.

The hotel is well-located; you can’t go wrong with that. The breakfast options were the best we had during our three-week trip in Colombia. There is a rooftop (10th floor) and some nightlife around. We knew this in advance and requested a room on the 4th floor, hoping to strike a good balance. The staff was very helpful and accommodated our request. However, you can’t completely escape the noise, so bring your earplugs, as there will be some noise from Thursday to Sunday. I'm not listing this as a negative since we were aware of it thanks to other comments.

Even though it is in El poblado, it's close to parque lleras (crowds there at night were quite sketchy) and there are lots of homeless people and bums in the area - people offering drugs at noon just a block away. I'd recommend staying further down.

It is very noisy. First night we stayed at the 9th floor it was undoable with small kids due to the loud music at the rooftop bar. Luckily they moved us to the 3rd floor the next day and offered us an extra bed since the beds where queenside instead of kingsize on this floor.

Super nice and helpful English speaking staff. Located around plenty of great restaurants and bars. The rooftop is very cozy with nice crowd and stunning views. Breakfast was AMAZING!

There is noise from the disco in the rooftop. It was ok because the music ends early and we didn’t stay there during the weekend. There was no hot water in the shower, we complained in the reception but they didn’t made anything about it.

Well honestly I would have preferred a lower floor for Friday and Saturday. The music from the party on the 10th floor is a little loud.

It's missing a closet, hair dryer and iron. I could not change the second person in my reservation which was weird. I booked for 2 people, I should be able to bring whoever I want.

Staff was excellent and very friendly, and the rooms good size. Good price for the value. Convenient location.
