Room was not sound isolated and u could hear the cars, trucks and buses all noght as if they were inside the room. In the gym the trademill didnt work not the elliptical bike.

Being right off the highway. Having to go to the store to get laundry detergent. These are minor inconveniences. Mainly just a suggestion for the establishment to put in a detergent dispenser or vending machine. That way guests don't have to search for laundry detergent, as most travelers won't be bringing that item with them. The parking isn't included with the hotel stay and is a separate business entirely. Not a huge amount of money, I think we paid the equivalent of $5 to park overnight.

These rooms are more like an entire tiny home. Complete with kitchen. The 2bed options come with 2 separate bedrooms with closing doors and a shared bathroom. When you close the doors, it's silent. There is outside noise, just due to the location being right off the highway. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is parking underground, but is separate from the hotel and you have to pay per night. Great shower with hot water and good water pressure. They don't provide conditioner, but do provide everything else. The gym was a great addition and they have a little of everything except for bands. The spa was cold, so we didn't use it and the pool is a nice addition for hot days but is not heated, so stays pretty cold. Breakfast was good and I really liked having the onsite lavandería. It's a little pricey, but they have washers and dryers. They do not provide laundry detergent nor is there a dispenser onsite. There is an Oxxo on the corner that will sell you detergent if needed.

Nothing to complain about really!

Simple and easy check-in process, room was perfect for what I needed, even has a kitchenette for longer stays but wasn't needed for me, breakfast was amazing and the cook was really friendly.

We didn't like that we didn't know at the moment of book our room that we had access to jacuzzi, sauna and pool for free.

The hotel was full of facilites and the room was very comfortable.

The shampoo was of very low quality, you have to pay for the utensils of the kitchen an extra fee. The rooms in front of the avenue are noisy.

The place is nice and the staff is kind.

My room faced the traffic circle and despite a closed window and ear plugs, the traffic noise still penetrated the room.

If you are a local, you know the back roads to reach the hotel, rather than using the traffic circle. Restaurants are easily reachable by walking.

I liked everything!

The staff was super friendly, the room had everything I needed. It's located in a main street, easy to get an Uber and there are restaurants, a bar and a super market right outside the building

The water falling inside the shower stall accumulates and makes the bathroom very wet.

The hotel says it has hair dryers for guest use, but when I asked for one, I was told that "all 10 units are checked out to other guests." I had to push the front desk staff to purchase or locate another hair dryer for my use (which I though was ridiculous). If any standard amenity isn't available, that's not the guest's fault. Booking.com says they're available, and this part of Colombia can be chilly. But, all got corrected after I pushed. Please also be forewarned that UMA Suites has no heating or cooling available in the rooms. This likely isn't an issue much of the year, but we had older colleagues with us, and they were cold without the heating option. Motion-detected lighting in the hallways made coming back to our room a bit creepy, as the light didn't activate until we were nearly 20 meters down the hall (meaning that the walk was mostly in the dark). I'd stay here again despite this issues. But, I think those staying here should be informed about property weaknesses.

This hotel is really a private college dormitory with several floors of micro-apartment hotel units. All rooms come appointed with kitchenettes, comfy beds, and nice bathrooms. The bigger rooms have nice seating areas. In addition, UMA Suites is ideally located for any Universidad de Sabana events. It's located across a major shopping mall, and is within walking distance of the cute historic district of Chia. All are major plusses for a return stay in this property.

I make a reservation in a queen room and they gave me a single room with a short bed very upsetting, they need to update the rooms availability in bookin, it was middle night and we wanted to rest, when we arrived they said it wasn’t available

I would have liked to have known beforehand, rather clearly, that the "hotel" was/is doubling as a dorm for local college students (which was cool, but somehow seemed a bit disingenuous and unfair, what with my college days being decades behind me.) Aside from this I enjoyed my stay. I liked how most guests would say, "hasta luego" when leaving the elevator. Also, I wished that the breakfast included in my stay (grateful though I was) offered more of a variety. I was quite pleased with the laundry amenities- tan chevere. I am also grateful for the kindness of the staff- especially Paula (thank you for taking my photos) Veronica, Angie and Manuela who were just devine- Thank you ladies. Greetings and all the best.
