We had a cold shower for 2 days of our stay, but the staff got it sorted as soon as they could.

The staff were super helpful and friendly, booking all our activities and giving us recommendations of places to visit and things to do. The private room was spacious and had decent air conditioning. The kitchen was fine, albeit a bit small.

Angie, Diego, and the whole team are amazing and super supportive. They organize activities every night and help you plan things to do in San Gil, like paragliding, hiking, rafting, and more. This is Colombia Hostel is easy to find — it’s in a central location, just a 7-minute taxi ride from the main bus terminal and a 7-minute walk from Terminalito, the small terminal with buses to Barichara, Guane, Villanueva, etc. The accommodations are clean, comfy, and totally fine. They have filtered water, hot showers, and breakfast at a fair price. Plus, they were super kind to store my luggage while I went to do the Camino Real hike. I had a great time at the hostel and would recommend it for sure.

It was perfect

Everything! My stay at this is colombia hostel was amazing— I originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 3 weeks. The hostel was very clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the bathroom had very hot water. The location is perfect and is just a block away from the main square. I booked all activities through them and had a great time relaxing and slowing down in san gil. Most importantly: I felt at home! The staff are all so kind and I got to know Silvia, Diego, Sharick, and Julieth during my time there. There are many great hostels, but it’s rare to find one where you feel like part of the family, and I am grateful to the staff for this experience. Muchas gracias por todo, HASTA LA PROXIMAAAAAAAA💗

The staff were all excellent. Centrally located but peaceful at night. Facilities were clean and well kept. When we returned for a second booking after walking the Camino Real it felt like a homecoming.

The lighting in the room wasn't the greatest

Great Location. The center of town is just one block away. Breakfast was not included but from what I saw it is very good. My room was really large and I had a beautiful bathroom with lots of hot water and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

There is no glass in the windows so you can literally hear everything from the streets, buy some ear plugs.

The hostel is in the best area, 2 mins walking from the main square. The staff is really nice, they helped us with booking a taxi, telling us hikes.

Super helpful and absolutely lovely staff, always at your service. They really enjoy spending time at work and like practicing their English with you. Excellent freshly prepared breakfast. Spacious rooms.

Very close to the central square, a shopping center and some important places in San Gil. Very nice room, clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly, gentle and helpful. It’s my second stance and I recommend this Hostel.

I was unlucky and a big amount of cash was stolen from me, but I am sure it was not the super nice crew of the hostel. Just be more careful than me and always lock your stuff. Card payment costs extra like in many places in COL. I recommend this place!!!

Loved it, ended up staying 7 instead of 4 nights. The widest hostel beds I ever saw anywhere, so comfortable!
